I knew they did not give a damn from the 30+ pounds of framing nails exposed when the water heater blew & the sides came off the pedestal but Wow, the builders suck.
Yep, that's what some of my drywall and cabinets looked like. I have kids with compromised immune systems, too, so that was an immediate tear out in my case. No fun.
Freaking sucks, plus, it's 109 so too hot to put the dog out, he will not stop barking.
Sorry about the kiddo, hope they are ok.
I had about 2 weeks of remediation and and restoration going in my house and my poor greyhound was losing her mind. She doesn't bark, but boy does she cry.
My kids' autoimmune condition is chronic and especially acute in my oldest son who has to receive an infusion every three weeks to make his immune system somewhat functional. My second son isn't quite as bad, but bad enough to be life altering in a negative way. Anyway, it's a long story and it's been going on since 2013. It's just part of our lives now.

Glad there is a working "solution" sorry it's necessary.
OMFG!!! noise canceling headphones are amazing! I turned on the noise cancelation & it was like the machines left!!!
I was using them to hear the TV as it had to be sooooo fucking loud otherwise & had to turn the volume on the headphones down after turning noise cancellation on.
You don't keep anything, damn liar and you're not THAT old.
You'll sell to him and we'll see if he's a man of his word.
Fun story, that 3% was a CTS-V Coupe dude that handed me his card when he saw my wagon...his son had a Camaro at the time and he wanted matching V...
a year later on a whim I called him and he wanted to see it that night. Showed up a day later with $17K in an envelope for me to pay it off, paid me the difference
a week later and the car was his.

Normally you would be right but it's been "done" for a year and I love it as much as a year ago and more than when I got it.
The BMW because I can't drive it is more likely to go but between being upside down in investment vs worth and the fact my Wife would kill me I can't even think about it.
I'd like to go for a ride now but it's still fucking 93.
Is that lift for the cat install just chilling outside???
It's amazing to me how different things are even in different parts of the US. That lift would have crumbled into a rusty pile of metal in a year or two here in MN. Also it would have even been used for 6-8 months of the year haha.
It's been in the mid to high 90s here for the past week. Friday and Saturday both hit 100 according to my car.. The heat index has been 105-110 too. We got a 20 minute shower Sunday, but no rain otherwise.
Picked my Wife up from the airport. On the way the AC stopped blowing cold. Went to the shop, compressor died, 1200 to replace everything I can't get a break
It's currently 65 and cloudy here, supposed to be 75 and sunny for the rest of the weekend.
I don't envy your weather now but that will change in a few more months.
I like cold and bundling. I also liked sledding. I went to a small private school across the street from Central Park. Our recess was in the park, in winter we took our sleds to school (on the city bus) and went sledding at recess.
Went to pick up the tree, paid 1200, drove 1/2 a block air stopped blowing cold, AC light started flashing. Returned, they said the new compressor was seized.
Door was there in 2008 when we bought the house, only one I'm aware of using it (except the dogs) is me when there was a power outage & I had no other way in.
lol
We have 2 80+ lb dogs & the gate is locked so I am not worried.
