Well, someone on a local forum that has more money than he knows what to do with, rented out the entire track for us to abuse.

Not many track days will you see a 458, an original Mini and a Turbo'd Delorean in the same session.

 

Wow that's awesome! I'm super jealous. I wish I knew loaded people who did shit like that

I really wish I had your number on this one.

In the pit lane, you are literally 20 ft away from the cars at max power. Towards the middle of the straight the road starts to dip down and you get a pretty breathtaking view of the entire track. It loops around a couple of times in the distance and you can see cars everywhere. If that wasn't enough, I was able to get on the flaggers paddock and be over the top of where the cars come through.

As far as a photographers standpoint, its a dream.

 

 

That all sounds very tempting. I haven't been to ECR in a long time.

Damn, it's almost a completely different animal to MSR. I'll definitely make a point to attend the next event out there.

Jealous! I missed a track day at the end of September, a local guy rented out The Pocono Raceway track. So jealous!
