BTW these were the other cars in the Cayenne customer's driveway. I had to go back to them to drop off to put the license plates on the car for them...I also got them the S class in the driveway, but not the Maser..

This was the FX I delivered on Friday. It was a fairly well equipped model, Premium, Nav and a few other options. The color looks black but it's that mocha color. Almost looks like an "eggplant" color. Lease was also very cheap. 39 months/10k miles NY tax included $515 per month. About $1,400 out of pocket total.

....And I just bought this - 2008 MDX, Black/Black with 11k miles. Base model.

Any takers?

Shoof, I'm getting ready to try to work out a deal on a 2011 qx56 for my wife? Anything special I should know? They are advertising a $825 a month lease deal for the one i'm interested in. MSRP is $61k with about $3500 down. I can't decide whether to lease or buy at 2.9% Is that lease special price any good? I have I think around 10k equity in my trade and could also put down whatever.

The QX's are a little tight right now. If you're not in a rush to get one I would wait. If you're going to lease with minimal out of pocket you'll be over $900 per month. On the flip side you can finance for 2.9% for 60 or 3.9% for 72 if i'm not mistaken. The dealers are still taking a premium for them. I'm not sure how it is by you, but by me they are tough. Dealers are asking anywhere from $1,500-$2,500 over invoice here. I might be able to squeeze $1000 over from them, but for the most part they are too expensive by about $60-$75 per month on a lease or purchase in my opinion..

Yeah, stock is pretty tight here with no competition. One dealer in NOLA and one in Baton Rouge. Not in a big hurry, I may wait until I can find supply gets better or I can find a low mileage used. Still pushing for sticker around here. May try something the last week of the year also.

I worked out a deal with a dealer in NJ for a 2011 535i I was wondering if you can get me a better deal.

How much of a good deal can you get me for a 2011 535i? Would the BMW holiday credit apply? Also while your at it if you can please tell me what you can do for 2011 BMW 528i, and 2011 BMW X5 3.0.

Specs? What are the MSRP's for your configurations?

Holiday credit applies only if you lease or finance, not if you buy outright. Same for me as it would be anywhere else.

2011 BMW 535i, Imperial Blue, Venetian Beige, Cold Weather, Premium Package. MSRP was $53,875.

For the 528i and X5 I want same configurations. I am not liking the color combo so I am thinking Alpine White/Jet Black/Space Gray on Black Dakota. Same packages though.

535i - MSRP $53,875, your price around $50,000 less holiday rebate

528i - MSRP $48,825, your price around $45,500 less holiday rebate

X5 - MSRP $53,975, your price around $50,100 less holiday rebate

99% accurate FYI.

TEMPTING on that X5. I will have to get back to you on that. Can you PM me your contact details? Sorry if possible can you also check and give me the details on a 2011 Mercedes Benz E350 with sport styling and AMG rim package? I want to see what you offer before I go to the dealer.

If I was looking to lease the 535i/X5/E350 what kind of lease rates can I expect?

Not a big fan of the QX exterior either but the wife is. And after buying a GT-R without consulting her first, that is very important.

The interior of the QX is tits and makes up for the exterior.

haven't seen the interior, but interior must be crazy nice because exterior looks like shit.

If you are planning on spending $900 a month, might as get GL or X5.

The GL has good interior space, even in the 3rd row. the X5, fuhgetabout trying to put an adult back there. The QX will be the most spaceous of the bunch.

I was working on a QX last month but the deal fell through because of his trade. It was an '08 QX in the light sand color and had a reported accident on Carfax and said the car was towed, the wife says one thing, the husband says another, long story short I couldn't give him what he wanted for the trade.

Oh well, try again next time!

X5 def. too small. GL is the other possibility at this point. Wife likes the QX better. Even though the GL looks better on the outside, I still think the QX has a better interior. Also I like the idea of having the newest body style vehicle.

Shush, Mark. If I spend too much on a vehicle for her, that's $25-$50k that I can't spend on MY next ride. We need a 7 pass. ride for vacations and carpool etc.

The S4 - Phantom Black with Black-Silver Leather/Alcantara, Premium Plus with Navigation, Carbon Atlas Interior Inlays, Alu-Look Kit (no idea what this is), Bang & Olufson Premium Sound and Sports Rear Differential Package:

I didn't really "drive" it, but i'm not as impressed as I expected to be. The 1-2 upshift is still the usual Audi/VW slow, the revs dip way too fast that even when trying to shift quick, still isn't quick enough because the spacing in the gate is so long and you end up bucking the car as you're getting into second. It's a similar issue I had with my GTI at the time that I eventually got used to, so If i drove it a bit longer i'm sure to get adjusted and have a better reaction to it. It's got some decent torque in the 1-2-3 gears. It's a comfortable drive, usual Audi. Would I get one over an M3? If I had to drive it every day (including winter seasons), probably because of the AWD. But for the drive, I'd rather be in an M3.

The S4 is sexy but doesn't look much more aggressive than a regular A4. That's why I'm sort of "meh" about it.

tbh i am really turned off with RR after last weekend... a relative of my best friend's wife needs a brake job and the stealership wants $2600... we went to try and get the pads, rotors and sensors for a DIY brake job and they want me to pull off the wheel and measure the rotor... non-Brembo should be one size, and Brembo should be the other... update your system!!! and a $2600 job for $600 worth of parts is ridiculous!!!

Audi's designers better be making some bank. That car is gorgeous. Especially the interior. Damn.

As for the Range Rover...meh. They need a new design since its been pretty much the same since 2002. The interior is really plush looking though.

The S4 above was upper 6's plus tax. An S5 is probably in the 8's + tax'ish..

S4. I'd love to have that as a DD.

From your driving impressions, do you think it's any better/worse than a 335xi?

They are both different. But in general I like the 328/335/M3 series better than the A4/S4..

so not true. If you actually see it in person, you should able to tell the differences between regular A4 vs. S4, IMO.

If you are going to compare it to m3 then yes, it won't be as aggressive but still aggressive enough.

S4 used to compete against M3, but Audi changed it to compete against 335i instead.

It sure does sound crazy expensive, but he is driving $70+ car... If you can't afford to have those kind of maint. cost then he sure bought the wrong car, IMO.
