Thanks dude
Thank you Sam!
We weren't trying to have our first child, but once we did, we wanted him to have a sibling close in age. I'm done after this one
Thank you! Yeah...I'm already exhausted with just one kid. Say some prayers for me

I hope everyone is doing well during this pandemic. Crazy times. As always, no major updates. The Tacoma hit 191k miles and I got a used set of 2019 Tacoma wheels and some A/T tires for $400 total. They look WAY better than the factory set and I couldn't beat the price. I'm tempted to put a small 1-2" leveling kit since the chunky tires look a bit odd at stock height, but I know that would start me down the rabbit hole of modifying

The S2000 now has OEM clear sidemarkers with chrome-dipped amber bulbs that I've had for the last year or so. The car is at 142k miles. I've also been working on getting my garage looking better. Other than flooring, I'm really happy with the look.
I can't remember the exact size, but I'm fairly certain that it's 10x16. The S2000 could fit if I really tried. Thanks Yummy

Thank you sir!

I happen to think that comes from a deep rooted emotional jealousy of the bond we have with the garage and how much time we want to spend in there.
You have the WHOLE fucking house but you need to store these ____________ (dumb shit that doesn't belong in garage) out here half hazardly thrown
on my work space?

Thank you dude! And yes, she keeps putting her stuff out there and it drives me crazy! I put it in the trunk of her car and she gets the hint lololol

Let me know if I can hang onto any of your wheels for you

A much needed paint correction was done on the Tacoma this weekend. Since I bought it, the factory single-stage paint has looked like crap. It seemed to be a matte finish when touched and water never beaded off. Nearly 9 hours later, it looks much better! Not perfect, but not bad for 192k miles
This first photo is a poorly executed horizontal 50/50 shot; bottom is corrected just with compound, top is untouched:

Done! Don't mind the weeds.

And the other two vehicles watching the Tacoma hog the garage:

My F-I-L's '08 Tundra is hurting a bit in the paint dept. Clear starting to peel on the hood & roof. Told him he should wetsand & respray it. My dad's got a paint rig, but not sure how well/if it could shoot auto paint.
Also, I shared this photo in another thread, but I suppose it should go here too:

Fresh oil, transmission fluid, differential fluid, and filters will be here this week
Holy shiiiiiiiii I bought something for the car
Honda released some 20th Anniversary parts for the S2000, so I pre-ordered this back in February and it just arrived last week. 1 of 2,000 produced. Hella JDM bro.

But I'm not sure if I'm installing it
Unlike my current radio door, this new one doesn't match the center console trim. I think it might look out of place, plus, I enjoy the contrast of the metal since my entire interior is black.

Right now the new piece is staying in the box until I can make up my mind. These things are sold out, so they're selling for much more than original retail. I might just make a quick buck

No posts in here in exactly 1 year! I hope everyone has been doing well.
Other than some maintenance items like engine mounts and fresh oil/trans fluid/diff fluid, the car hasn't changed much at all. I'm up to 146k miles - just 4k miles since June 2020. No, I never installed the radio door
It's still in the box. It's quite shocking how these cars are appreciating...I'm glad I bought when I did.I've been dedicating my time on getting the garage set up the way I want. I'm waiting on a few more items, then I'll do a full "reveal" or recap. Here's a sneak peek, as this is the most recent picture of the S2000 I have:

The Tacoma is at 204k and I just did a bunch of service work like new spark plugs, brake fluid flush, coolant flush, diff flush, power steering flush, new front OEM rotors, new front OEM pads, and oil change. It'll be around for another 3-5 years, then I'll likely upgrade to a new-generation Tundra.
