There was an empty spot in the driveway
So we filled it with a 2002 sequoia.........
one owner 166k, 4wd, undercoated frame, tons of records, no accidents, super clean interior.
The one downfall was there is rust on the wheelwells when you open the rear doors. It's not bad but we are going to have it fixed. The timing belt was just done at the dealer. There were a bunch of other things done too. I will replace the front brakes with centric rotors as they have worked out well for us and new tires before the winter. I think there is only about 4/32 tread and i don't think that will work well in he snow. I absolutely love driving this more than the 911. Odd but true.
I will have to take more pics when it's clean.

Beautiful. Congrats.
Friend of mine wanted Tacoma like me. Was astonished at the resale. I told him to look at Tundras and Sequoias First Gen, and he said those had pretty amazing resale values too. I am familiar with Land Cruiser and Tacomas as an owner, but not much with the Tundra/Sequoia.

Two of my buddies had rusted out frames on their Sequoias replaced free by Toyota. Does it still have the original frame?

Is this a designated snow or tow vehicle? Not sure if I understand the need for two big SUVs.

Why not? We needed a 3rd vehicle as a backup, something to drive in the snow so i don't have to get snows for my accord, and something we can haul the dogs around for me when Mrs. Dallison has her 4runner.
It's a vehicle we have always wanted and gas mileage isn't an issue.

Nice, always been a fan of that body style on the Tundra & the 4.7 is a good motor, if it's shared with the 4G T4R. The V8 Limited T4R my parents had was a torquey beast on the highway.

I have seen several Toyota trucks and SUVs go well into the 200k+ and even the 300k range. You are good to go for a while, like others have said.

Congrats! It's really interesting seeing it side by side with the new 4Runner.

Still have our 04 Sequoia bought brand new with almost 200k miles on it. It has been an outstanding vehicle.
Enjoy and happy motoring.
