They go to some famous guys house and try to 'improve' the guys lawn as gardeners but completely destroy it. I think it is the funniest episode I've seen...fucking hilarious. -> http://videos.streetfire.net/video/T...rce_643589.htm

I wish we could get that guy some help somehow. Screw the BBC and their supposed rights. In fact I'm just about sick and tired of all of these billion-dollar companies running around whining about the internet and their precious "intellectual properties". How Hessmo sreaming episodes of TG online is impacting them is beyond my understanding (particularly considering their blatant lack of media support for the show i.e. dvd releases and the lame american versions broadcast here and cut to peices).

I have every episode of TG myself and I'd love to live in a country that didn't cooperate with the BBC or their BS copyrights; you can better believe I'd give away every episode for free and tell them to kiss my ass.....

^Agreed. I feel like every TG link on YouTube is dead because the way it was obtained was somehow "illegal". I understand where they are coming from, but it's a little over the top.

I have every single TG episode as well

When you think about it, the whole hype over Top Gear USA was generated by Top Gear UK fans, who became fans from watching online videos "illegally". In short, BBC is putting a gun to its head by cutting off almost every single source of Top Gear to the outside world. I feel like a protest.

Guys, BBC America had the vintage car rally episode on last week.

I think BBC is cracking down because they are finally getting their heads out of their asses and showing the current season on BBCA. They want everyone to watch BBCA and get the ad revenue obviously.

That said, you can probably still torrent the episodes. My biggest beef with BBC America is that it's not in HD but I can download a torrent someone has of the original HD broadcast.

I always thought BBC america was ABC...and in Canada we have CBC...

ABC, BBC, and CBC aren't affiliated?

TOP Gear host Jeremy Clarkson has reassured fans the show will return - and TV Biz can reveal a new series is already being filmed.

Viewers feared the worst after he said: "This feels like an ending" as he wound up the final episode of the series on Sunday night.

But Jezzer, 49, insisted the show will return - unless he "gets struck by a giant meteorite or spontaneously combusts".

He said: "I can assure everyone I'll be back in November doing Top Gear. We're filming the next series and already have several things in the can."

Clarkson also said the show will continue as long as people watch, adding: "I couldn't think of anything I'd want to do more."

That dramatic end was quie ambiguous, but he said during the news portion of the episode that they start filming again in November, so pretty much forecasting more TG.

Yea. I wish they would have said if they REALLY left his lawn like that without fixing it or if they paid a professional crew to come in and fix it up. I would have loved to see the real end product.

Nope.

American Broadcasting Company, British Broadcasting Corporation, and Communist Broadcasting Corporation. I could see how they could be easily confused into 1 conglomerate, only ABC is not state owned AFAIK.

I honestly don't think Top Gear will ever end.

It's become probably the most successful and most popular automotive show ever; that I can think of at least. More and more people I know watch it every season. Heck, even my parents watch it on BBC America and they love it!

Has anybody ever seen the Australian version of Top Gear? I downloaded the first ever episode and it was trash.

You mean BBC America is showing current episodes?

All I ask is that they simulcast the current episode on BBC America with the British episode. If they do that, I will no longer download eps. I would be happy to watch commercials to support the BBC but they have to stop showing reruns when there is fresh product in Britain. I understand that they want to sanitize some stuff for America....but c'mon....I'm a big boy....I can deal with Jeremy's occasional non-PC stuff.

/rant

And too bad hessmo died. I was halfway through season 1.

I love how when they do the challenges where they buy cheap cars, they always purposely put dents or bump into the other person's car. I'm watching the Alfa Romeo for less than $1000 challenge and Richard pulls up next to James' car and opens the door and smacks the side of James' car like it is an everyday thing. Then Jeremy pulls up behind James at the pit stop and smacks into the back of his car and says 'sorry' in an obviously sarcastic voice. I've also seen this in a bunch of other challenges lol I love it.

Also, question: Why is it that whenever they do a car review the car they drive on the track is different colored than the car in the studio like 90% of the time?

Because they film the segments at different times, so they can't use the same car most of the time.

You may have luck with finding episodes online.

http://www.casttv.com

I just watched episode 7 on there. Not good quality, but it was there. And Jay Leno has a valid point:

"So I asked my wife, would you rather I have a hundred women and one car, or a hundred cars and one woman?"

Brilliant.

Top Gear Russia was depressing. And I usually LIKE depressing things. But not this.
Top Gear Australia.....they never trash anything. They only seem to talk about things they like. There's no chemistry between the hosts but that sorta thing does take time. It just seems like they're trying too hard most of the time, always mugging and winking at the camera. Maybe I just don't like/get Aussie humor. It's so....chummy and jokey and reminds me of Conservative/Christian "comedians." The nasty, mean edge in the humor of the real Top Gear is what makes that show such a joy. That, and the fantastic camera work and editing.

So, I went to FinalGear.com for the first time today and tried downloading some of the episodes. Does anyone know if they've all been taken off because I couldn't get any of them to download, using utorrent and vuze.

Well, I don't know if this is a new policy or not but yes the vintage car rally in Mallorca was on last weekend.

And I agree with you but I think the problem is that our puritanical FCC would likely flip out over something Clarkson said even if it's okay for British TV.

Mininova still has torrent links. I've pulled all the episodes from the current iteration of the show (2002-present) off that site including up through Series 13, Episode 7.

I finally watched Episode 7 of the current series and forgot about the panic that ensued after the episode originally aired.

So I panicked too. I thought Clarkson signed off for good. Then I remembered he was just lamenting the death of the V12 supercar. LOL

Which chick in the crowd do you think was the hottest?

I think the blonde in the Lewis Hamilton interview who looked like she was raping him with her mind was the best looking one I can recall.
