teh CL.... lost his V card
Fuck, and that is USD. Almost makes this Canadian one seem like a bargain, even though it’s auto.
But still... rare as fuck up here. Honestly, if I wasn’t trying to be a cheap fucker these days, I’d seriously consider it. Right exterior color. I wish interior was black, but not a deal breaker. They’re asking 58k... offer 55k.

design kills interior space FOR a wagon
but...I don't think there is a sexier lined wagon in existence, AMG included...
sorry to whore but I yam what I yam and this is the only pertinent v talk on the site...

I used to have a love affair with my car...the black TL. 7 years on it...I knew it inside and out. I still kind of regret selling a car I know that well. At the time I had an Israeli landlord with a few properties and owned a few tow trucks in a booming business...he would show up to collect the rent in a different car every month...he was like, I came here with $700 about 7 years ago...I love cars and things but if you want to take my advice...only love your family, never love a car. Buy it, enjoy it, sell it...make a profit or break even.
After I thought about that it led me to the type S TL...then the Caddy and now the others I've bought and will eventually need to sell when I get tired of paying insurance on them...I guess I enjoy them for a bit then move on and try not to get attached anymore.

LMAO, why y'all hate on brown though? I have the least invested in that bitch and drive it the most for the best miles per giddyups.
AMG is sexy as fuck, don't get me wrong...but I don't think it's the same...again, American Muscle in station wagon form...only other in recent history that could fall into that category is the Magnum XL.

But all AMG Estates & the Vagon, make the Magnum look like a slug, aesthetically.

Agreed, that the AMG & Vagon are similar, but different.
WHAT THE FLYING FUCK?!?!?
the Vagon WAS available in Canada!!!
this is the first one I’ve seen for sale, after looking and looking... no 6MT, but shiiiiett....
too rich for my blood, though. I wouldn’t cough up that much dough right now.

I looked up that very Vagon a couple of weeks back, I see it's still up for sale for $1/km. lol
Any of you V guys done the throttle relearn?
I did it last night & reset the ECU again since the car wasn't feeling smooth during part throttle. To say that it's a night and day difference would be an understatement, definitely changed the whole feel of the car. Think I've gone through half tank since last night..

I don't recall but I think I did when I put in the TB.
Got my alignment redone and can report back that with 2 bolt adjustments you CAN get camber back to about a half degree front AND rear on the CTS-V...
toe is all set now too and she's sitting just PERFECT.

The fact there is no accompanying pic in the grass or beside a puddle or at the side of the hwy as proof, makes me question the validity of this post.......
Yeah it just absorbs moisture from the air over time and starts looking like piss. Well that, and the constant heat cycles. I bet it’s never been changed before, simply due to mileage. BBKs are able to handle dirty fluid to some extent. When I took my 370z out to the track for a lapping day, one of the rules was you needed brake fluid no older than 4 months, I think. Mine was already 1.5 years old at that time. Didn’t have time to change it. Said fuck it, if I get brake fade I’ll just pull off the track early. The Nismo has big brakes all around and I didn’t have any issues with brake fade whatsoever. Didn’t notice a change in the pedal or the braking, start to finish.
That same day, my friend took his 6MT 4G TL to the track for the lapping event
funny thing was, he had some of the best tires that day on that luxobarge. He was definitely the slowest and heaviest car there, but he had fun nonetheless. I remember after a session he pulled back into the pit area and his front brakes were literally smoking, and he was on new fluid. Mega brake fade happening by the end of a 20 minute lapping session

With how dirty that fluid was & like you said, more than likely untouched factory fluid, the car still stopped pretty damn well at "highway speeds"...
I changed the fluid cuz there have been a few moments where I was braking harder than I should have & something didn't feel right. I'm guessing it didn't help that the system had more than a few air pockets as well.
Great piece of mind for $30 & a couple hours of work.

“Highway” speeds
I did the same when I bought the F. Improved pedal feel was noticeable. Well worth the $$ and time. The added peace of mind and knowing it’s maintained is the most important benefit

Never heard of Superblue. From my research a lot of folks recommended Pentosin Dot 4 LV but I didn't feel like waiting for shipping so I picked up some OEM Dot 4 replacement from my local part store. If I ever get to the track I'll be sure to step it up to the Pentosin LV.
Everyone only mentions Dot 4 but the reservoir cap says Dot 3 which was interesting. I'll take the higher boiling point though.

I wouldn't kick either out of the garage though
