Sucks to hear about the tire. Any idea why the inside got so worn down? Alignment issue or something?
Thanks Aman. It's nice not second guessing the wheels anymore. The left front is slightly out of spec after the drop so the uneven inside wear was due to camber, but they were down below 3/32 all around anyway. I got 30,000 out of the F1s which was much more than I expected.

Randomly came across this oddly familiar car in this eBay ad the other day. Should I sue?

Wait, the seller used the picture of YOUR car when you had that (AWFUL) hood on it?!

I have had that happen too. Sometimes is a real pain to get them to take it down as well.

In other news how is that rear diff coming along?

I had that happen so many times.
I sued each time and have accumulated enough to put my kid through college.
Do it bro, it's worth it.

I know, I know. I kind of look at it like the time I had a mullet with racing stripes carved on the side of my head in 7th grade. It seemed like such a great idea at the time, but looking back I wonder what the heck was I thinking. Making memories I suppose.

I like to live on the edge, K. I let it get all the way down to 5% before chickening out and plugging it in.

I’m not going to make them take it down. It was more of a joke. I have bigger fish to fry right now anyway.

It’s lonely sitting all alone in a cold garage until Spring. I toyed with the idea of just selling it but then snapped out of it and decided otherwise.

Hmmmm well I have two kids to eventually put through college, so maybe I can sue for each photo to double my settlement?

I mean, I've seen my old TL and S2000 on a LOT of ebay sales of various bullshit...
but no, was kidding about actually pursuing. I just used to message them being like, "hey I'm RS143 on AZ...I'm kind of a big deal...here's my paypal so I can buy more ricer stuffs"
I actually bartered with a few though...where they would provide me a good discount or even free products for some high res images and a good word about the product "if it didn't suck ass"...(I would tell them I can't sell my soul to the devil if it sucked).

Well it looks like all these guys do is sell hoods, so I wonder if I can barter for a new T/A hood? Oh wait, that wouldn't make sense. I have been contemplating another hood or shaker, but each time I think about the cost I come to the conclusion it'd be better spent on a cam package. (<--- Might be happening in 2018)

Nah probably won't ever happen. Now that I've had this car paid off for 2 years and it's proved to be reliable and up-to-date enough for my needs, she'll be getting so more go-fast parts. I just can't see having a huge car payment nor feel the need to have the fastest or best in the garage. This my friend is the dawn of old age for me. It's here and there's no turning back. Now where did I put those coupons?

Paid off is the best. I used to have that feeling of having a paid off car.

Thanks stupid girl in the Sport-Trac.

For what you can sell the R/T for and what you can get a Scatpack for.... you should live a little.

I've thought about it a lot. Like a lot-a lot. But whenever I do start considering the possibility of selling or trading in for a Scat Pack, I kept coming back to fact there's really nothing I don't like about my car. It's fast, reliable, looks good and has some decent creature comforts. Plus I don't think I'd get all that much for it since it's now the older-older body style and it's pretty heavily modified, so I'd have to de-mod it to get the most return. The main reason to upgrade to a Scat would be for the power. I can put much, much less money into having cam/springs/lifters/converter installed and be able to hang with a Scat vs having a Scat and a car payment. I'm healthy, I have a good job, have no debt, we own our house, I max out my 401k, I have a happy wife, and I spoil my two little money sucking monsters I call my kids. I'm living more than just a little already.

I was about to bust your stones up until “i spoil my two little money sucking monsters”! Luckily, I’m able to be in the Scat and do the same for my two! Great looking R/T.... enjoy it and be proud of it.

Bust my stones, eh? How could you possibly do that when mine is built, not bought. <-- Always wanted to say that super lame line. Thanks for the opportunity!

Well glad we can both enjoy our kids and our rides. Maybe once I get my cam installed we can run for pinks, and by pinks I mean loser buys lemonades for all the kids.

Wait til they are 6 and talk back, think they know everything, and are general assholes in every sense of the word. Well...one is, the other is a space cadet whose mind constantly wanders off into his make believe world...which is also annoying.

People think I'm messed up for saying my kids are assholes.

Don't get me wrong, I love my kids, but, they're assholes.
