Don't worry dude, you're not alone. I get asked all the time what the license plate means. Part of me regrets every personalized plate I get. At first I'm really excited about it, then pure shame sinks in.

Add Type badge so it says Type R/T.
This car was supposed to remind me of my '72 Skylark, but maybe it's my '88 CRX Si that I really want to relive! I had a serious fart can exhaust on that baby.

'Bout to pull the trigger on a 3.06 rear diff. I'm also strongly considering picking these up. Multiple reviews proving they give a real world increase of 5-10 WHP across the entire RPM band.
5hp I wouldn't say if was worth. 10hp maybe worth it long term. If you can get 10hp that is $40 a hp. Not terrible return. Would it require a return with the better spark and what not though?

Yeah it's not a huge gain for the $, but from the dyno results the gains are all through out the RPM band, so it's not like a max gain of 10hp at redline. No there's nothing that needs to be done other than bolt in. They suggest you gap the plugs to .065" but the dyno results I saw said the gap only gave an additional 1 HP and no increase in TQ, so I'd likely leave the at the factory gap of .040". The main thing these do is increase spark, but not just increase it, but hold it when under heavy throttle, where the OEM coils lose spark thus lose some HP that's there to have. At least that's my understanding of it. I'm running out of bolt ons at this point so I came across these and they sparked my interest, no pun intended.
if you are chasing numbers, then go for it... but there is a certain point of diminishing returns where you get to the point that it isn't felt anyway... can your butt feel 5hp difference? honestly? a K&N claims 20-30hp... do you feel it during a filter change?

I feel ya. I guess the difference for me is there's proven dyno results not done by the company but independent guys showing the results. K&N results, well, I don't even need to go there to explain how they can alter dyno numbers to their advantage. But yeah, I don't know if I'd be able to feel 5hp or 10hp. I do go to the track though, so I suppose I am some sort of number chaser.

Hmm, what's that saying? Go f*ck yourself? Yes. That's it. Go F*CK YOURSELF! And I mean that in the most respectful way possible.
then go for it... if you are chasing tenths, do it and change your plugs as well...
Plugs are only about 10k miles old so no need there.

Well that's why I suggested he go f*ck himself. Because he's so ridiculously good looking, intelligent, he's got a super sense of humor and to top it off he has a beast of a Vagon. He probably seriously enjoys putting it in himself. Who wouldn't with all those qualities???
Took the Charger on a road trip to Chattanooga with the fam a few days ago. Put the non-MDS tune back on before the trip. Got the best MPG since Oct of 2015 at 23mpg. The fill up before the trip was 18mpg for mostly around town driving, which was better than normal, too. I guess ECO mode is off for good.
I also drunkenly purchased the SOS coils last week. A quick drive after install today and I swear she pulls stronger, but hard to say if it's just the excited butt dyno or not. First track day is March 4th so we'll see.
