Synth19, I was at both meets, and your car looks SO much better in person, I could not take my eyes off it! Even at SCS, it was one of my genuine favorites there...anyway I'm so glad this meet is 5 minutes from my house!!! I loved watching the cars pulling up when I got there early!!

I saw that lime green lambo in Rockford last weekend! They were there along with quite a few other exotics

So I was on my way home when I heard about this other meet at Vago's @ Des Plaines (Oakton and Elmhurst). Apparently they have a meet here every Saturday from 1-5PM. People that attend get discounts on food too (gyros, beef, dogs etc).

This week's turnout was grim due to the Infiniti meet (I'm guessing). I spoke to the guys there and they told me that AMS rolled thru last week and turn was great. I will post something up shortly in the Chicago subforum about this.

Anyway, this is one of the cars sitting outside... owner's car or something... not sure... WHO CARES!!!!!!!

i was talking with the guy who "borrowed"/"is related"?? to the owner of the CLK63 Black Series at Supercar Saturdays (i think he said its his dads and he brought it to the meet?)...anyway he mentioned about some restaurant they just opened?? i didnt understand but now i get it! lol...humble guy.

synth, i must say that color is unreal. you made the right decision. the side profile pic (with the red nsx) is fantastic. truly a timeless design.

looks like a great turn out. most in attendance have a good taste in mods - usually not the case.

where were these meets held? that shopping area doesn't look familiar to me. i only know woodfield, oakbrook, fox valley, stratford, and hawthorne.
