Super car choices.

I won't want to pay the insurance, excise tax and maintenance cost for a supercar...
Give me a regular 911 or C5 anyday...
My favorite years of 911 are 72-73, 87-89 and the 993 (95-98) - all aircooled... We don't need no stinking radiators

I was lucky enought to have fondled a '91 F40 up close and personal for about an hour. Wow! Less than 100km on the clock. Scratched up lower front air dam, probably from a few driveways. Sat in it (might've slightly dinged the driver door against the garage wall, but I'm not saying). Rowed through the gears. Lifted the hood and enormous rear engine compartment. which was flimsy thin. No pole to keep it up. IIRC, it's a TT 2.9L V8 - crazy supercar performance from only 2.9L! Huge boost and F1 technology at work, I'm sure. Interior was all business with carbon fiber door panels and weird cable pulls to open / close the doors. Don't think the windows went down. Looked liked a rudimentary HVAC system. Oddly, it had two small red lights on either side of the main gauge cluster that said "slow down." Must've been an integral radar system. Very wide car, in fact it's about as wide or wider than the Suburban that was in the garage, too. Mainly lots of drool.
Fortunately for the owner, no keys laying around.
Owner allegedly owned another F40. A run of bad luck caught up with him and one or both have been sold.
I haven't met anyone in person that has understood just how cool my brush with car greatness was...maybe you folks, but I haven't met you!

out of those choices, i'd be in the Bugatti Veyron. I've either seen or driven most cars on that list. Never have i seen or driven any of the Bugattis, a McLaren, or the SLR. But the SLR i ll see soon enough. The Bugatti is just out of this world.

McLaren F1. The car is really out of this world, nothing else like it. It is a Formula 1 car with street tires and two more seats. The exhaust sound is..........shit I just messed my pants.
0-60 in less than three seconds, 1/4 mile almost in the 10s, and NOONE will EVER be able to catch you in the twisties. Plus you can still carry like two suitcases, a golf bag, and some other shit in the storage compartments (car was made as a "daily driver" - HAHAHA)
Check out Tiff's video review of it. He messed his pants around every corner of the track. "It just keeps on accelerating - this is insane!!!!"

mclaren for sure. you sit in the middle! cant get any more pimp than that. and after i saw this 20 minute vid about how the car was made and what it could do on the track... forget about it.
btw, all those MBs on that list would be my last choices. they dont stand out on the road at all compared to ferraris or lambos.

Some of those Mercedes could hand a few of the cars on that list their ass in a drag race.......

Jeez !! Nice set.
If I were to pay for maintenance etc I'd go for CL 65 - unquestionable performance, comfort and reliability but if I had a chance for a test drive
I'd die half way between a Murcielago or a AM Vanquish.
