So many cars show up eveyweek.
Those shots are old but this week there was a 430 hp Evo
GLI is Stage 2 with k04
Both had a run
Evo had e85 though

This is his camera, $1200 but it's an amazing thing

http://www.dji.com/product/phantom-2...n-plus/feature

Also Supra showed up, and had a run with B5S4 Stage 3, which both passed GLI and Evo like a rocket while they were doing 120mph

I just went to couple meets while passing from there, I don't know them
Brother does, they have an amazing shop though. Guys know everything about exotic cars.

Very nice. I'd love one as a personal car. Just for fun but obligations (funding college for the kids) prevent me from doing this. Keep us up to date on the cost of ownership. My Subaru has been pretty cheap so far.

Thank you sir!
Even marrying someone scares me, don't even want to think about kids
Will see, so far so good with the BRZ but I don't know if these cars are reliable as Honda's are.

when you get the Minivan, make sure to burn your passenger seat from your TL.

it seems that will be the only way to have some ME time.

hahhahaha I love the wifey's company....and she is cool with how I drive....infact she encourages me hahaha

we were headed to Texas from Kansas...it was about 2AM and some dude in a civic wanted to race me, kept gunning it (no turbo or SC, just an exhaust on one of those old hatches) and slowing down...the wifey was like "will you race him already"

Exactly^
Thank you!

You were the one who was telling me to slow the F. down
You were the one who was telling me, you will not pass 75 when you have a family.

Who cares if family car is fast or not.
We know each other, none of us will have fun driving a car slow.
Well, that's how I feel with Lexus of Audi at least.

So go ahead trade the Lexus with a used Honda van.
And go buy something fun for yourself by trading the TL

After kids get older, trade the van with whatever she wants

Edit: Shit I am slow. Why you guys type fast

And yes, even I don't drive fast when there is a passenger with me. Why bother having a fast family car.

My last one was an asshole driver. Just couldn't drive slow. Ok I drive quick too but sometimes you don't need to.
One before, didn't know how to drive Auto. Rented a car when she came to States from Istanbul and asked the guy how to shift gear ://

well thats the reason why I wife-d her brotha we love driving and our company....

from KC to Chicago/Dallas/Austin/etc, we have driven to all these locations rather than flying in

Meko, the reason why you want a fast family car is so you can enjoy it with the family....now I dont go anywhere without the wifey/kid...so 90% of the time am driving the family car, why not make that the fast car, so you can have fun at the same time

if all goes well, yes, the TL might become the track car...FINALLY !!!

Are you doing this on purpose?
OK I will be the old Anil...

Meko, no need to drive fast, especially when there are other people inside the vehicle
Hahaha
TL already is a track car
That bish takes corners like my BRZ

Ohh.. say that you will buy a standard Macan
Then I approve.
You could have fun with manual, or it's engine sound or whatever.
Power and Auto in a family car? No

No I don't
When it comes to family car;
For you powah
For me MPG

I think that's why I just can't agree haha
I know gas is cheap here but after BRZ I just think that it's waste of money to have a low MPG car
I just turned off the car at work this morning with 37.1 MPG and exactly at half tank currently

I said I would have a Q5 as a family car because comfy/style and 24MPG still not bad.
28 on the way to NYC

Would get Diesel one if I could
SUVs that I always loved and wanted are Touareg and Range Rover
But Touareg TDI is around 50k and gives only 20/29 MPG Better than hybrid version but still bad

^^^ holy shit 38mpg is awesome....

I totally agree on the sentiment....here is my thought process:

when you have a family, what car are you going to spend the most time in?
are you going to be happy driving it?
how many times will you get to drive the "fun" car?
will you longg for the fun car and get furious coz the only time you see it is whn you park the family car in the garage?

and thats where the minivan comes in the equation...no one likes it, they all drive like shit and have no power....but I like the practicality of it....have yet to see one person who has 2 kids and a minivan, complain about it...the kids strap themselves in, the doors close automatically....hell I wouldnt mind the kids eating in that car since it will be a very cheap old minivan....

but until the kids get to that point, until you (think) you have the control, its time for a fun family car....who reason why the CTSV wagon, the X5M, GL55 AMG, etc

Dropped to 36.8 during lunch but I'll bump it up on the way to home again
Gotta stay at speed limit nowadays, at least 3-4 cops I see during the day.
End of the month and Sept 1st is here. All kids are moving in. Cars from other states, many uhauls around and etc.

You are totally right... but you get to drive the fun car 5 days a week to work.
Wife takes the family car
So we talking about only 2 weekend days for us to drive the family car

But yeah, if you definitely trade the Lex with a minivan for 3-4 years, then worth getting something expensive as a family car after all those years

I would get CTS-V Wagon for myself

my work is mostly from home and sometimes travel....so thats out of the window...the only time I drive my car now is if the wifey is couped up at work and I go get groceries or just those fun runs

and is this real life? Meko talking about doing speed limit....

Ahh those fun runs

Other than travels, I thought you were out for work. Yeah, that changes the whole story.
I can't do that man. I have to drive the car at least 25 miles to work everyday haha That pushes me to go to work
Yesterday I was at Rhode Island, for some field check. Tomorrow will be 50 miles away for some design work.

Then this really brings us to what you have been saying. Making the TL a track car. No worth of replacing it and wasting money.
Deal with a minivan for couple years and get something crazy for a family car.
OK I approve now

Yeah I slowed down man
This MPG thing is addicting dude
I tried to run with R8 last week though hahaha

VTEC still kicks in sometimes

Naah screw the R8. It was at night, both got off the ramp, long straight run.
Wanted to see where I will end up but he got to 120 slowly and then stayed there... wasn't something clear.

2 runs I had which was pretty clear and gave me some thought about the car was with a 2012 WRX sedan and S2k
Other than those... nothing really

I am around 12k but I think engine warranty goes upto 60k miles

I feel like buying an b5s4 for $5k. There is one guy selling it. Silver
Add $5k more for modding. Done. 500 awhp
