My buddy Ben and a couple others hosted that meet. It wasn't a bad turnout for the first time in Texas. Here are a few pics from the meet itself that I took.

I prob post more later.

Bunch of mine too. The white 350 with the black rims, and the black 350, white is250 too.

They keep bothering me now to do something with my TL. Not sure if I want something like that.

And we do have a car video thread, except no one goes into it so this is more appropriate (it's a sticky at the top of car talk)

is that rusted up car an old 5 series? hahaha that's such a "euro" thing to do, rust up the car and slam it to the ground, slap some rims that are worth 5x the car's worth and you are so euro it hurts hahaha

even in the fist video there is a yellow 20th GTI with a rusted up fender, and for some reason I like it. very cool

I've seen the rust thing done on a golf. It looked really cool, in a grunge sort of way.

The rust is a tribute to the past. Its not european even though euro people seem to like to do it as much today. It originated back in the hot rod era where people would let rust build up on there cars and eventually they were called rat rods. Its a good style I like it. It gives an older feel to the cars heres a couple pics from SEMA of rat rods.

Gotta love duramax rat rods!

Cool video.

Is there some kind of new trend where adding rusty body panels to your car makes it look better? I first saw that on that old slammed Nissan and it was cool, but I see lots of people are doing it, never noticed that before.

I like a nice worn rust patina, but that orange rust just doesn't look right. I love the way these cars look, but somehow hate the concept.

By the way, what is poking?
