SRT finally came to the northwest, at Portland International Raceway. You have to own any of the SRT vehicles to be invited. Driving the new 2008 Vipers was a kick!

there were 4 stages,

1/16 mile run
autocross
roadtrack
hotlap with nascar driver

I'm somewhat surprised there wasn't at least 42 SRT4's there. Looked like a badass time though.

 

They were going to go but then they found out about a post on a Civic Si board bashing the SRT-4 so they all stayed home and got in a flame war.

 

Am I the only one that thinks the green Viper and baby blue SRT-8 Charger looks pimp?

It was a lot of fun. They actually provided us with great food as well. On the roadtrack, the only SRT we couldnt drive was the Viper, but everything else we drove ourselves, and hit excess speeds of 120 mph. The Viper I did some 180's in, and at most got the Viper to 50 mph on a smaller track they had. I loved driving the charger and the Jeep. A lot of fun on the track....my dad has the jeep so I drive that when I can....
