Lol- thank god the OP isn't in Ontario- 31 mph is over 50km/h, which means he would have been charged with street racing( or stunt driving), his car impounded for a week, plus fines of up to $10,000

So basically you were moving at freeway speeds in a residential area?

Usually when you reach 30 over the limit they hit you with wreckless driving, which is a lot worse than a simple speeding ticket.

Ontario has some of the most severe rules when it comes to speeding; yet I still see idiots drive like Schumacher around here.
