In search of a Honda Community b/c of gf

Well, my gf wants to buy a honda and I have no experience with hondas. I also want to get her plugged into a car community. I can't persuade her to get an Acura because her heart is set on a honda. So, do you guys know of a forum or community for hondas that are as good as Acurazine is for Acura? Google search really was not productive at all as it turned up some really old forums.

hondatech.com

There aren't any Honda communities out there like Acurazine. Some sites have enthusiasts that are hardcore, with a lot of technical knowledge. I'm afraid its either you'll either find a community with mostly ricers or mostly swap-crazy technical folks (don't know if your gf is interested in either)

NO COMMUNITY IS AS GOOD AS ACURAZINE.

Seriously, you're better off just asking the car talk regs. about the Civics you're interested in.

This may be a stupid question, but does she know that Honda makes Acura?

I've looked at honda forums, and I can't really stand any of them. It's actually very hard to get involved in another forum after this one.

It's a price factor. I think she would love to afford an acura, but right out of college with crazy debt = start small. She knows Honda makes Acura which is why she wants to get an Accord and upgrade in a couple years.

Ya I agree with you guys, it is almost wishful thinking because acurazine really raises the bar. I can't stand ricer forums and that's what I really found with google search. I'll try the ones you guys recommended here though.

Thanks for the speedy responses!

Funny I felt like I upgraded when I traded my CL-S for my Accord.

Try V-6-P.net (take out the dashes, Azine won't let me post the actual site name). I have good luck there, that is if she's planning on getting a V6.

^ Agree. I'm on V6 Perfomance and it's pretty legit. I've been to some Honda forums and.. they're not as welcoming and resourceful.

AZ's the wrong forum for your woman.

We talk about only BMW 335s here.

i wouldn't recommend hondatech forums. im a member there and wont post anything because of too many idiotic remarks. im a lurker over there. a lot (and i mean a whole lot) of members there talk out of their ass, are biased towards one style: jdm, and a lot of members there are just thieves trying to find locations of people cars, not to mention a lot of them are e-thugs.

show her this site, she'll want a tsx, and members here talk to each other as if they are family. it gets a little heated in some threads, but doesn't go out of control.
