Thanks but I'm doing a TVS or Rotrex when the time comes to rebuild the bottom end. 240whp is plenty to hold me out until that time comes.
Diamond Bar is ~20miles from me. New owner will be substantially closer to Jan for upgrades..

Dang sorry to see the GP is gone, but it sounds like you're making a wise financial decision. So now that you're in the Lex, let's see some photos of that red interior! I absolutely must have a red interior on my next car. I love the contrast with most colors.

Go into Setup, then select General, and it's towards the bottom. There are 5 different settings, with 1 being the most sensitive, and 5 requiring more force.
Also, make sure your dealership gave you the Lexus Personalized Settings (LPD) packet. You'll see that there are certain things that only the dealership can adjust, but they'll do them for free at your first service.
Get your Enform Remote set up as well!

Enform Remote is up & running by the way
This thing is absolutely NUTS!!! Blown away on the technology that's been thrown into this car.
Took it along for a couple of errands this weekend; I'll be the first to say, I'm VERY impressed with this car. Still getting use to not dropping my left foot to get in & out of gears, but it's worth it. Having an 8 speed gearbox, you'd never there were that many of them unless you looking at the display in sport mode.
I'll explain [thoroughly] this weekend.
Here are a couple a cell phone shots I snapped this morning; promise to get a proper shoot with Jeremy soon

Best way of describing it - it's like a custom fitted suit; two button jacket with perfect sleeve length, non-tapered trouser with intense creases.... Love it!
I saw you ended up with the Q50; great car!

Thanks & I agree with you 100%!
Doesn't appear they'll be offering a manual option anytime soon... still fun to drive though!
Been on ECO mode since I got it; want to see how well it does on fuel consumption. So far so good at 27 mpg in the city (so says the display).
I'll start toggling with different modes on the next fill up; +/- 280 miles from now.

I only drive +/- 7 miles a day; occasional 11 miles if I go to the post office... but that's twice a week.
43 miles total during a work week.
With the Mini, I only fueled up once a month. We'll see if the this can do the same or better?
I agree; attention to detail in there is excellent!

In terms of performance, my friend had a IS250 F-Sport. He did 1:32 at Streets of Willow with everything stock which is very respectable time.
The car might be slow in the straightline, but it is a relatively agile car.

Really? I'm a pretty big guy (6'1" / 185lbs) and it's pretty roomy in there; both front & rear.

As strange as this may sound, it actually doesn't bother me. You can hold a conversation to passengers without having to yell at them lol. I guess old age is kicking in
The sound system is unreal. If you're an audiophile, you'll really appreciate the work that went into the acoustics. I was listening to Ivan Dorn this morning and could hear the strings being picked from the guitar... no exaggeration. They did a great job there.

Hah.... what ever happened to those knuckleheads!?
Opted for it.
Only options that are not in this car is rear sunshade, heated steering wheel, & spoiler.
They picked it up this morning to tint; driver is on the way back now.

Seems to be the trend when with even hypercars; everyone's steering to manumatics with paddles.
Thanks; that Merc in your driveway is sex!

^^^Thx. BY the way you guys are lucky with so few miles driven daily. I'm about 60 miles a day round trip to work (already put 7k miles on it). And if things work out i may start working out on the road soon. Good thing my warranty on the Benz is unlimited miles until 2020.
Takes some more pics of the instrumentation will ya. How many different things can you see up on that pretty screen?
Here's the big question....what have you already ordered for the car?
PS - i can understand you with liking the quietness in the car. I'm still debating if i'll give it a little rumble or keep the quiet of mine (so nice in there). We're definitely getting old man.

I doubt I'll be doing any modding to this thing... It's just a grocery getter for the time being.
I'll snap some shots of the console / different modes today on the way home.
