What car...
wtf man, you're just reinforcing my opinion on forced induction on fwd. And that's that once you spend the cash on it, it leaves you either wanting more or feeling dissatisfied...I've observed that from a LOT of people that go Supercharge. They get bored...if they go turbo, they miss the reliability and hate the upkeep.
Either way, I'm sure what you'll pick will be awesome considering what you just recently considered.
I can't speak on behalf of the turbo guys, but supercharging is definitely the route to go for reliable power. Of course you're limited to the power that you can make, but it's more than you'll need for day to day driving.
As you know, I've been stewing about getting another car for a while now. I almost landed an S4 a couple weeks back after the bbq meet, but it was sold before I went to see it
As far as what's next? Lol it'll definitely be German
that's too bad. i feel like you just got it to where you want it.
the s/c is nice reliable power. there's always someone faster and likely in a much less reliable car.
are you parting out or selling as a whole?
I don't look at it as a negative since I'll be upgrading. After owning this car for nearly 10 years, I'll always love & respect it for what it is. Having said that, I just feel it's time to move onto another platform.
I'll be selling the car as a whole... too much work to convert back to stock.
10 years
Dude, I think you'll end up regretting selling a classic to keep up with the Jones'
I'm not saying you can't be happy and won't be happy...but there's that element of unique and all the work to make it your vision, and the car is at least 11 years old...9 more years and you get your antique plate on a car that hasn't been produced in some time.
Just REALLY think about it, man...really. That car will not lose much in the way of value since you need a particular seller, you'll find him now, and you'll find him in 15 years from now. Also, about needing space, Mom had my sister and I in and out of a 1990 Civic Si coupe without issue for a long time. We just convince ourselves we need this or that...fk that.
^ i agree. I was set on selling my CL a while back, but it was actually the wife that knocked some sense into me. I would miss driving it too much, and for the $ i could get for it, i'd rather keep it.
I also have 2 car seats in the back of mine
Trust me fellas, I've thought about it long & hard... after all the work that went in, I will definitely miss her. I'm certain I'll enjoy the next car just the same.... change is good!
Already started looking into three different cars; all with solid racing heritage. If I can land a deal on any of the three, I'll be content.

THe fun is in building the car to your liking. Once its at it peak you tend to start looking elsewhere. Thats why i never understood guys that take their cars from nothing to completely modded in a very short time. Then what?
Good luck finding the next toy. Mind your wallet though, remember you wont want to be broke when you hit the truck buying age like me. Haha.

Already have an SUV; hands down the best vehicle purchase to date!
What seems like a short time was actually two years for the modding phase... The visual portion of it went quicker since everything had to be done all at once. Boy does time fly!
I've been lurking a couple of other forums to see what the pros & cons are between the cars I'm looking into to. Think I have a winner... now to find a deal out there.
Wait...they were 23 pounds WITH tires?
What were the Vossen? 50? You have no idea how much you'll now agree with me about how much you'll FEEL the lightness when driving...for serious. If you're wanting to auto x, I'll hook you up with my buddy Ricky that sets up the S2000 events that I haven't attended
Also, I happened to notice that your signature no longer has a F/S thread...and instead has some Majofo dick wisdom (the wisest dick of them all )...
I'm in love with convertibles!
I just remembered that I forgot to write back to you. This weekend was a stupid ahole drunken Saturday which made me forget stuff and then I was recovering yesterday but vaguely remembering that you had already sold the car and why was he only taking ownership now.
The search continues for my next project. I've since had the chance to drive some really wild cars... One being a 911t. H.O.L.Y.S.H.I.T that car is quick!

Sorry...
No worries; I figured you were either painting the new casa or tied up with something else.
I've done that before...we did that a few years back actually! Fkng Capones with their cheap liquor refilled bottle 3 for 1's!
I was partying with my Dad and his wife at home, not sure if that makes it better or worse!
