Saw the MUSTANG, 500 AND Freestyle!

Yea sorry if this has nothing to do with the TSX but this sh!t excited me.. I've always wanted to see like test mule prototype cars drive around and I took a trip down to L.A. and I was cruisin around late at night and all of a sudden i see a White 2005 Ford Mustang GT and then 2 cars in camoflage (500 and Freestyle). The mustang was beautiful... and as for the other two i couldn't tell. lol but yea I saw like 5 TSX's down there! Pretty snazzy cruisin on Rodeo Drive, later.

Ford just lost it's case with the Futura name, I wonder if the same thing will happen with this since I think Nissan already has the GTR name reserved for its 2007 GTR.

I saw this article in Autoweek: linky

It just goes to show that Lincoln doesn't quite get it. You want to compete with the big boys you gotta have a good new platform not:
"keeping the Panther platform on which the Town Car is assembled is an option. That platform dates to 1978 and is shared by the Ford Crown Victoria and Mercury Grand Marquis."

Has anyone seen that show "Extreme Home Makeover?" Anyhow, they were in my town and they gave the family a brand new 2005 mustang! I took pics. I'll email the pics to anyone that can post them.

I don't think GTR can be registered to one company, number of companies are using it. Also, as far as having an old ass platform, yea thats not great, but I was in the back of a previous gen town car and that car ran so so so smooth. Very nice ride quality.
