s2k + axis speed

im in the market for some wheels (got stuck with ap1s on my ap2, cause owner did not wasnt to sell with the mf10 mugens )

i really like how the AXIS SPEED LOOK
others im considering are
-black rpf1s (i like because they are light but, my car will look too much track no?)
-axis matrix
-vs-xx (too much money tho)
-bbs (i like a few models)

but, ive seen most of these on s2k and have an idea of what they look like on thecar. i have not seen AXIS SPEED on the s2k, and was hoping someone could photoshop. i have no comp skill. and would be much appreciated.

thank you

sorry im not good at photoshop either, but personally i think that rim you show here would be perfect for your S2000 especially b/c they go with the color theme of your car with that hardtop. buy them!

whats the point in spending money on some OEM RIMS, yeah they do look nice but, wouldnt it be better to save a few extra hundred to get some aftermarket.

but, i have considered these...except id get them painted a gunmetal or so...

I was going to mention the RPF1, but didn't for various reasons. I have seen them on many S2000s and they look sick with the right offset and tire size. I didn't mention them for fear of having someone say they are played out or "you only recommended them because you have them" which I do. I have them on my teg after they were recommended to me by another member on the board.

Personally speaking, no matter how played out people say the RPF1 wheel is, for the price, it's the best looking and lightest sport wheel on the market hands down.

Its all personal taste and more expensive is not always better. I think that those after market wheels+tires will cost alot more then just a couple hundred dollars more then OEM. If I was going to spend money on after market wheels I would save up alot and buy a set of Volks or BBS.

lol. i dont think theyre THAT cheap. tires are nice also.

i was looking to get some RPF1's but dam. the cheapest i could find them is $800 no tires. lets say i get a hook up on some nice tires, that puts me at $1200. thats a little more than id like to spend on rims. instead i put it away in my savings. lol

i have a friend who just bought some gram lights from japan for 1700 new plus shipping. shipping was ridiculous too! i think the wheels alone cost more than his car. he has a 240sx.

ill be getting some better rims in the future. this is the first thing i buy for the car, i have something against spending money on cars. so lets say this was the first step.

I say do it right the first time or don't do it at all. In the end it's your car do what you feel is right. I would have just stayed with the ap1 rims and have them powder coat or rattle can them black or gunmetal and save the money for better rims. $800 for rpf1 is a great price imo if new. Or if you really wanted to change rims I would have just sold the ap1 for $300-$400 and picked some ap2 v1 for $500-$600.

Nice. s2k btw Im in the market for one myself, hopefully find a nice berlina black ap2
