Although I have many muses, I still love this motherfucker.
Cruised down to Miami for an 80's Party for a surprise for my buddy...
she's just a pleasure to drive for date night...so poised, so quiet and smooth...
See a GT3 RS hitting it on the way home and I basically kept up with him more or less...
although I wasn't willing to cut people off and change lanes so I never really got a chance
What a great vehicle...getting about 270 miles to a tank and that's with E85 blended in
on stage 2 tune with pulley. Jekyll and Hyde for sure...

bro, I live in a house with all kids and mostly girls...
I need something to balance out their whining so it's tolerable.
I'm like man, when you gals talk it sure reminds me of my car.

Been getting slow starts after not driving it for a day or 2 or 3...
decided to check the resting heart rate and every day it was dropping...
12.5v on day one...12.31 on day two and 12.05...realized it was probably
the battery...in the trunk...
also realized my fluke mm from work doesn't have amp capabilities so no
parasitic draw check
biggest fucking battery ever
replaced with an AGM platinum from advance auto which is really Johnson Controls...
Apparently you need to update the battery information in OBD11 and I didn't have a BEM code on the battery...
everything worked fine but I surmise that updating the serial/model battery puts the electrical system into learn
mode so it can adapt to the new amperage and voltage. I found a way to get it to take my submission...basically
changed the manufacturer to JCB and serial to the one on the barcode. It worked. $165 out of pocket for AGM,
not bad after 25% off and core refund. I happened to have that sitting as a refund from something in my paypal.
While I was back there I've been meaning to come up with a creative way to hold the subwoofer while also being super
easy to remove it. Because of the weight on it and the only thing to bolt to being the rings on the floor...I had it in the
middle with a ratcheting strap holding it down. Sound wasn't the best and honestly it was making the back 3rd of my
trunk useless for space. Found these obsolete antenna brackets at work and made myself something that requires
one wing nut to be loosened and a quick disconnect jl banana clip to be removed from the car. Pretty proud of my ghetto
ingenuity.
Yesterday I decided to give the ole girl a bath and get a coating of ChemGuys Wet Buttsex butter wax...shit doesn't
go on as easy as a polymer but I'm a believer in Carnuba now...it looks like the car is actually wet.

Not sure how much validity is in that alleged fact but I know sitting in the car for the first time really got me hooked...more so than the other 2 German manufacturers Audi is competing against. It also helped that the shop foreman at the Infiniti dealership that I've gotten to know really well recommended purchasing an Audi over the other 2 brands too in regards to reliability and etc.

I'm surprised he still has this car, honestly. I thought he'd be at the "Well, this car couldn't pleasure me sexually..." followed by a 90 second video of someone else driving his former car away followed by the "My Wife Couldn't Strap on the Audi: Rockstar's 2018 Dildo Thread"
I'm so proud of him.
I'm so proud of him.

Demographically, I recall reading that people who enjoy techie stuff gravitate towards Audi.

For the most part, If someone has a Benz or Bimmer, it's more for show. They probably don't even change the oil. It's just being kind of fake.
I actually find that interesting. And lately, it has proven to be true. Many guys here have Audi's and never have much to say in terms of problems.
Maybe because Audi is part of VW. Much like Acura, it's more than just it's own brand. Therefore parts, maintenance and overall reliability is probably more "Down To Earth" for lack of a better term.

I told you fuckers I loved this ride...still a perfect daily driver in my opinion.
Fast but also very poised. I have to maneuver some asshole left lane dump trucks in the morning and even taking curves doing it (like this morning)
it's a fucking breeze...no sweat...once I added that rear sway bar this thing handles and has the power on tap...all the while quietly
jamming to Christopher cross
There's an estoril high mileage 6MT for $13300 right now...I'm tempted to sell to @Predatorbird for what I have into it and put some
cash back in the bank and do up the estoril the same BUT...I'm honestly not certain I want 3 manual cars and I'm definitely certain I love
my sorted out stage 2 gorgeous volcano color more than that other car. If it had any sort of catastrophic failure that would easily eat up the
cash out difference PLUS now I'd have a high mileage Audi that a lot of other people would probably be afraid to buy.

@svtmike Mikey, you get that actuator issue sorted finally? I know you were waiting on a backup part to fuck with.
If I'm honest...I still miss driving that little turd to this day. It was fun...selling at that mileage was still a good come up but.
Case in point...I can't get enough of this color, especially with some carnuba on it.
