And the grass again....really.....grass.....I know you want YOTM but this isn't even your lawn

The drop though with the spaces on looks so perfect. Thanks for testing it out for me.

LMAO...
Well, what's odd is it's only rubbing on the driver's side...I know we have a factory camber adjustment, I just need to read up on it and adjust a little on that side and I'm good. It's only rubbing on the inner edge, so it's not really damaging anything...
I'm kinda torn on the springs...right now I could "return" the springs that I bought last month by just swapping out the rears since that's the only different part number. Something about having the right spring rate for the weight of the vehicle is tempting...
but if it jacks the rear up an inch I won't be happy
although then I won't rub
or I can remove spacers...

SO MANY OPTIONS!

Shoot, it's actually the opposite...spring rate for the coupe springs is higher...
Looks like I'll be cancelling the order for sedan springs. I will say height is perfect right now at about 26 3/4" F and 29 7/8"...

"Lowering increases negative camber, period. (until you get it adjusted of course)

The adjustment is a bolt on the lower control arm where it meets the frame. Basically it's bolted in a curved slot. To get more positive camber, the bolt is loosened and the arm is moved further inward, which pushes the top of the wheel out. For more negative, the opposite.

You can diy but chances are you'll foul it up since its a matter of degrees.. But if the camber is egregiously negative and causing the car do dart like a cracked out greyhound, it might be worth a shot. Just understand that every adjustment affects the others...its a nasty journey on our cars, especially when lowered. If on a budget and will keep the car for a while, just get the lifetime alignment at firestone. It will pay for itself quick if you change suspension alot..

Depending how low you are, you can only get so close to a positive number at certain heights without making that slot longer... You're probably screwed is what I'm saying.."

So...it's been nagging me that I got a lower drop by going with a softer spring rate by going with the springs intended for a coupe. In the back of my mind, this seemed ghetto. Well, I have some squatty ass IMO...and with a ride to the grocery store with Mom in back with Z...and major rubbing, I decided that spring swap would be my first step toward fix. If that doesn't work, spacers are coming off and I'll return those. I'm not fucking around with camber and fender rolling...that's exactly what I DIDN'T want to deal with.

So...in my opinion, order the springs intended for the weight of the wagon, not the coupe.

Shit this is not what I want to hear. Now I am torn on what springs to do again. I need the car to be able to travel on a regular daily basis with 4 dogs in the back totalling 160lbs and when traveling close to 500lbs. You are not making me feel good about this at all now It looks so good though so I don't know what to do. Guess I will continue to wait for your work and see.

LMAO...
well, technically...I had I Zoe ~120 pounds, My Mother ~200 lbs and my wife ~80 lbs...
and one Advan wheel in the back!

Honestly, a half a degree more of negative camber and I'm golden...driver side only, passenger didn't touch.

I'm telling you though...I think coupe springs are stiffer than sedan! In which case I'd rather keep what I got! The stance really is awesome...
there's also some optical illusioning going on with the bigger sidewall on the fronts.

Sedan springs have less drop in the rear so it would have more space to not rub.

I guess...but they are a softer spring rate...which means if you're gonna rub because it'll travel further. So you'll have to lose a quarter inch of looks, but it'll probably allow a rebound at least a quarter inch. I'd rather keep the nice low look and harder rates.

Easiest fix is pull the spacers off, right?

I love the look of the flush rear though. Can you glue half a coil back on?

Well as long as it fits on most regular days on my long trips with 500lbs I figured I would probably need to pull the spacers anyways. If I have to roll the rears a little I am not that worried about that either. I just want a roll and no pull though.

i'm confused... so the rear is where your issue is on the driver side right? why not have the fender lip rolled??? it's really not too big a deal and should be fairly inexpensive... i'd do that before taking the spacer off...
so is the consensus to go with wagon springs?

The Caddy fenders are already pretty rolled...wasn't sure how much work it would take to flatten them completely...
Also, I believe I'll need to modify the roller to work.

I was trying to get away from the low life...but yeah, I guess I feel what you're saying...I don't want to ruin the tires or fender by trying to avoid rolling.
