Q45 vs CLK430

I'm starting to think about upgrading from the 97 TL early next year. Just interested in what you guys think...they aren't in the same class but I like both of them, '02 Q45 or '02 CLK430...the CLK is much sportier outside but kinda plain inside...the Q is just sick inside but more like an old man's car from exterior.

That's like deciding between eating a watermelon and a banana.

I'd go with the CLK, though I agree the interior of the Q45 is nice. The CLK will have better resale.

Unless you're 55 years old, don't get the q45. Pick up an 06 M45 or RL or GS430

Well since you're going from a 1st generation TL... (I assume you liked that car) I'd say the Q45 would be more to your liking.

Oh and there isn't anything "grandpa-ish" about the Q45, its quite a nice and dare I say, fun to drive car.

Agreed. Its one of the really good cars that didn't get the proper attention from buyers.
