Now wouldn't common sense tell you to pull over & not even try to drive until it was paved & salted? Obvious that was ice.

If a handful of people can be seen playing bumper car, why does the next person think they can make it down safely?

Wow.

If some of those people were going to fast in those conditions, imagine how they fast they drive when it's all clear.

Okay, I've gotta mention this now - I've driven in a lot of different cities across the country. But, I lived in Utah for a year when I was doing my Master's degree and I can say this without hesitation - the most brain-dead drivers (on average) in the country drive the highways and byways of the state of Utah. I cannot even begin to describe how bad it is there...and that's when the weather is good.

Doesn't beat the video from a couple years ago where they recorded all those bumper cars on the steep hill in Portland.

If you look closely, that Honda Pilot is empty. Then the Tundra hit it and did a parallel park by itself. EPIC WIN!
That must have been the biggest hit from this vid and make it that much more funny.

No doubt about it...especially if it rains. We don't have the slightest idea how to drive in any kind of moisture.

The guy in that RAV4 was a fucking moron. Should have been pulled out of the car and shot point blank in the head.

This is why I have snow tires on the TL and chains. If it's ice, I wait around...

In Canada we refer to that as a minor dusting. Not even worth getting the winter tires out.

Damn, that Crown Vic got nailed. And I'd hate to be the guy in the TrailBlazer SS. Thank God I haven't seen anything that bad in NJ in a while (or ever )

If it snows at all in TX, you stay home. Not because you may not trust your driving, but because of people like this.

My favorite part of the 2nd vid is around 4:35, after two tracking shots of the car pileup the camera pans up to a crowd of folks on their cell phones.

On phone with insurance company: "Yeah, you know what? Just send everyone you've got to 35th & Franklin"

No kidding. Same here.

If it snows enought to matter it scares the shit out of me to get out the road, the drivers are idiots. I just stay home; too dangerous.

Totally off-topic, but would a set of snow tires on a AWD car help in that type of road condition?

I've lived in Socal for all my life, so I don't know how that really feels.

Notice how the ones out of control are on their brakes. The Accord likely would have been fine if they would let the FWD pull them through. Same with the F250. He was fine until he tried to stop.
