Not bad looking & still looks like a normal 'car'

I always wondered why the e-Pace is a gas powered compact crossover and the i-Pace is the EV one...

Interesting, I don't think I've ever seen an E-Pace on the road. In photos, doesn't look dramatically different to the F-Pace.

The Culinen is an odd looking SUV, sure it's nice though.

Damn that 720S is beautiful... and amazing with the TTV8 and 2.9 second 0-60. Love that color combo as well.
But also, *looks outside at the brown*, that blooming!

Three Wheelin'
A 997 GT3 RS that the owner has owned for 5 years. It now has 19,000 kms or 11,800 miles. What a sound as the exhaust was definitely not stock. He was visiting his mom. She said he knows the police quite well and they know him quite well. lol What a sound as he took off shifting at near red line.

Certainly less exotic, but nice all the same. The engine in the Mustang must have been stock/original as it was ultra smooth...no hot cam.
And these I am all too familiar with...

^ High school friend's grandfather had a gorgeous 65 Mustang with the original 289
Just a light burble & was in amazing shape.

A Mustang GT in Highland Green being raffled off at the mall. Similar to Steve McQueen's car in Bullitt. I think I'll watch that movie tonight.

A 65 or 66 would be my top choice. Different friend in HS had a rough 66 coupe. Hodge-podge of parts. Had a 302 V8, seats from a 70 Mach 1, and was in rough-ish shape. Was driving it one night, hit the highbeams & lost all lighting. Luckily it was a full moon.

That SLS is also fantastic, one of my all time favorite cars. Too bad it's basically unobtanium now.

The SLS never did much for me. SLR or AMG GT for me. All well out of my budget for the foreseeable future.
Ex-OEM King
AMG GT's are (relatively) inexpensive these days. You can easily snag one for less than $80k now which is a damn good deal for a car like that. Guessing they'll continue to go down over the years because they aren't as iconic as the SLS or SLR. That said, they are easier to run and maintain than either of those.

Still not [financially] practical & no way I'd do that without a garage to put it in. Would have to take out a nearby storage unit to park it in.
Whats up with RDX owners?

I didn't like the SLS much when it first came out but I think it aged beautifully. Much better than the SLR, IMO.

I see all the cars here but even when the SLR was new, I never saw them. SLS and AMG GTs I see all the time.

Only 2000 SLRs were made and they are all garage queens

been a while - but I have actually seen a few on the street - like back when they were hot -
Completely gorgeous and iconic vehicle for Mercedes to have made. In regard to how they are aging, I think it's arguable - I mean, it's a very unique looking car, any way you slice it. And it always will be.

to me SLS's are better looking and a helluva lot easier on ownership costs and various headaches (drive-by-wire brakes) of the SLR. In most aspects the SLR was a bit of a hodgepodge bloated project for McLaren/MB and it's design lead Gordon Murray. Once Murray and McLaren were out of the picture, the AMG team designed the successor SLS which weighted ~500lb less despite going from carbon fiber chassis to aluminum space frame. Cost of owning a SLR is pretty ridiculous. $58k for rear brake pads and rotors

$56k for a brake job?! Nope. I'll be buying another car. Lol!
Here's a couple of nice ones I saw on my way from Klean Exhibition over the weekend. Especially the 911...DROOL!!!

I remember the SLR being crazy expensive on brakes, but had only heard about the fronts, at something like $18k per rotor when the car was still in production.
