Guess what I just found? The patent for the new/current RL's amazingly repulsive plenum grill:

I was shocked to see that the "inventor" was Damon Schell - I thought that he was such a great designer as he's the senior designer for the ZDX, which I love. I am not really fan of the RL grill at all... Was he really solely responsible for the RL grill, or was his name used for the patent just because he was the senior designer?

If you click Honda on that page it will load a list of hundreds of other Honda patents. That might be a good place to find out what Honda has planned for future vehicles.

 

They probably had it patented to keep somebody from making the same mistake twice.
