u LUCKY SOB! Congrats to u man!

How much is it gonna cost after tax, dest. charge and other mumbo jumbo they slap on ??.... and was there a markup or u paid MSRP - SERIOUSLY doubt they went down a cent off that

But why'd u pick that color? They all look good on the m3 but the blue and silver they got are just killer... with nice tints the silver makes the car look like a silver bullet. But if ur happy with that color than its all good

Keep ur fingered crossed about that engine problem taken care of

DONT listen to this guy... the stock rims are one of the BEST, if not THE best stock rims on the market. And they just look AMAZING on the m3.

Plus no one will have the m3 rims except an M3! So why would u put on some aftermarket rims which some knucklehead's gonna have on his civic

He's talking about the optional 19" rims from the factory.

Well guys, I'm at around 57K with everything but I'll negotiate more when the order goes in and the 03' changes and other stuff comes in. If anything the cost may go up if the 03's have some neat new stuff. This is my dream car so I'm game for anything right now.

i stand corrected :o

But u gotta hate aftermarket manufactures for duplicating something from a rare car like m3 or any other. Unless of course ur driving a "lesser" car and want to make it look like an m3

Funny thing about the BMW dealership was they told me that when they get everything over to Germany and the car is being built I have to get asshole training from Tom2 and elitist training from Crazy Sellout. Afterwards I have to ask some guy named CaKennedy how to spot BMW bashing and how to logically convince everyone BMW is the best

Congratulations on the new car. In black (convertible) it's my dream car, too.

I would go to Europe and pickup the car, would be kind nice to see those countries again....

Hey Ernie, what dealership did you order it from? I hear King BMW has a good inventory of them down in Freehold. Are you going to get rid of the CLS afterwards?

Nice car Ernie, but why in the hell would you get the SMG?
Learn to drive stick and you will enjoy the car much more with THREE pedals on the floor.

I like the SMG concept especially since it's technically the fastest way to FAST in that car Why use three when I can WHIP in two?

i have to agree with mantis 6 speed would be freakin awesome but theres sumthin in me that says f1 style paddle shifters are more this is what really impressed me though on the bmw site when they explain the smg they put this in "Shifting can occur faster than even an expert driver can achieve. (as fast as 80 milliseconds)" see i dunno how true it is but you have to admit its damn impressive

Maybe in a straight line, but stick is more fun and offers more control of the car in the twisty’s.
A full auto can easily beat a clutch in a straight line if the power is the same at the wheels because it never fudges up a shift.
But last time I checked, most roads had many CURVES in them.

Not that you value his advice much, but didn’t Tom say he wishes he would have gone with the manual ???

Buy whatever you like, I’m just offering my opinion.

Sounds great and I hope you are happy with your decision.
Just don’t weigh it down with 500 lbs of AUDIO stuff in the trunk.

I look forward to a ride in it early next year.
