I'm going to the dealership this Saturday to see what they offer me on the trade-in.I most likely won't make the decision on the spot, though. Especially since I won't have the loan check until early next week.

Get the Genesis coupe, you won't regret it. 7.5 years of driving the same car? I wish I didn't have car ADD. Every 3-4 years I get the itch for something new. Guess that's why I'm not married LOL.

I bounced the idea around a bit. Then I made up my mind on getting a Sonata Turbo Limited w/ Nav. I went to the dealership to buy it, but as soon as I arrived, the salesperson told me there was bad news. The car was a dealer trade which no longer qualified for my discounts.
So I was a bit ticked off because I had called earlier that day about the car and she said it was good. I had wasted time and gas to drive up there for nothing. I just wandered around the lot a bit while my friend who went up there with me to look at another car was doing his thing with the Sonata SE Turbo. He bought it on the spot and while they were getting it ready, we took a red Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track Auto out for a spin. I had a lot of fun with it, so I told them to find me a white or silver one.
The dealership could not find anything. I actually ended up having to call Hyundai Motor America myself and located a silver one at a port in Georgia. Due to Christmas season and the bad weather in the south during that time frame, the delivery was delayed. On 1/11/11, I signed the papers, dropped off my beloved Acura
and hopped in the Genesis Coupe to drive home. It's been almost 3 weeks and I've been having a lot of fun with it. Great car. 
Speaking of the date, I think I'm making a habit of buying cars on interesting dates. The Genesis Coupe was purchased on 1/11/11. The TL-S was purchased on 1/2/03.
