Oh dear oh dear....

TOP GEAR on BBC World tested the new C6 Corvette and the BMW X3.
Both were hated by the hosts.
The C6 lost kudos because of the leaf spring rear suspension and quality of materials. The X3 lost points because it was not a true BMW because it was not built by BMW and quality of materials, styling, ride, etc etc...yes you heard me. It’s built in Austria by a out sourced company.

It is univerally accepted, as much as I LOVE Top Gear, they are biased towards Ameican cars (in a bad way).
It is also universally accepted, the X3 is a total POS. No magazine likes it. Period. It is EXACTLY what BMW was not until they started chasing sales. It is very overpriced as well.

I do think Jeremy Clarkson is the best reviewer period.

Top Gear is great. They savage cars that deserve it in my opinion.

Watch the Corvette review for comedy if not anything else. Its quite amusing to hear them complain about leafsprings and comparing the technology to something out of a chariot.

What's worse where at the end of the show he compared the suspension of the Vette to Vietnamese ox cart. OUCH!

I liked the TVR. I really wish they sold those here.
and TOP GEAR is the best autoshow. Period.

Did you notice in that review (the video one at least) with the drag race?

The NSX was off the line before everyone else and got 2nd place overall

And the Corvette placed THIRD!

The 911 getting 4th..

Well... Honda says its 290 but dynos have proven that its about 25 to 35 hp higher in some cases. The NSX Type R is even crazier.

I was really surprised how fast the NSX was off the line. I thought the TVR would prance away, which it did at the end. I was scratching my head for why the 911 came last?

Just imagine the NSX with a bigger more powerful engine? Keep in my mind that the NSX hasn’t really changed in like 12 years.
