Oh, believe me...the sales guy was willing to move alot on the price too since the 2017 model is coming in September and so, they wanted to clear out the 2016. Sooooo tempted...
BUT...can't. Building a house at the moment and so, I'm still at least 2 years out from getting a new car. But, it should be exciting when it's time to replace the FX.
Likely will go the wagon/avant route this time...although, the Porsche Macan may be a wildcard.

Well if you are two years out then the Panamera wagon might be here by then since it was confirmed we are going to get it. How about a Panamera GTS Wagon!

Poor 'Merica.......coming to the Panamera game late.
Mind you....it's been the same with us for many US-only cars as well.
They need to stop doing that nonsense, and let everybody have free choice of whatever comes out.

Yeah, pre-owned all the way; especially the way wagons are viewed in the States. There should be a significant amount of inventory you can pick up at a good price. They don't hold value like a SUV for example.
I'd rock a car like this in 2 seconds flat if I drove MBZ's (I don't)
2013 Mercedes-Benz E350 4MATIC Wagon in Pittsburgh for sale

^ Nice one, though if I were in the market for a CPO MBZ Estate, it'd be the next-gen after the one pictured above.
Even in E350 form, a good looker.

Of course the Alphina B5 is a beautiful wagon. However, I think most of what has been covered is available or will be in the US. Unfortunately, we don't get that lovely wagon here or the Audi S or RS wagons anymore either as they would personally be high on my list.
Another beautiful BMW wagon.

Always preferred the E39 when it came to the 'older' 5-series.

the drop and wheels don't hurt but yes, nice looking. My car is 10 years old and still doesn't look outdated, I just hope it remains that way for a bit longer. Side note, I have a loaner 535i xDrive and it is the most soulless BMW I have ever driven. It's nice but it certainly stirs less than zero emotions when you're driving it. My 530 corners better as it has the sport package and this thing doesn't. The engine sounds like a 4 banger and I thought it was until I got out and looked at the badging.

Sport mode didn't seem to help much. I think it just made the steering heavier.

nowadays a lot of the newer cars are all sharing the same issue - numb steering feel.
I dont understand the reason why everyone switched from the hydraulic steering but it is what it is. Not much we can do about it.

^^ Engine efficiency by omitting a steering pump driven by a belt drive off the engine.

I see...
how much efficiency it has improved is a ?
But i dont think it is worth the trade off for something you feel every time you drive the car - steering feedback.

The V90 is beautiful. But that new Pagon is going to be awesome.

Do quite like the V90. Also had a soft spot for the V60R.

I am going to suspect the Pagon is going to be bend-over pricing as all Porsches are. So, the V90 may be a great alternative to the E-Class Estate (non-AMG). Of course, the A4 allroad is always a great option too.
