Shocking, but a good looking wagon!

^ No way that'll come to the US. Jag has a hard time convincing people to buy their sedans let alone a wagon.

I bet you loved the vibrations coming through the chassis after you got out on the pavement again due to all that snow in the wheels.

haha yeah it felt very weird for like 15 mins driving down the hill. Everything was gone and dried up by the time I got down to the base though. LA weather problem haha

How did that Spoon looking race car look in person?

What is worse in snow? AWD with summer tires or RWD with all season tires?

Excellent. He tracks it very often. I will be working on a few more interior pieces and will be doing a nice photoshoot for him. Can't wait.
I wonder that all the time too haha I don't know!

IMO, the biggest misnomer or belief is that "all season" tires are truly all season. I've seen tests showing winter tires performing better in the rain than all season tires. I'd think in your scenario, RWD with all season's would be worse while either in deep snow, both would be terrifying. Yesterday we got 3-4' of snow in the space of 7 hours. I've got Yokohoma Snow tires on my AWD 530xi T which is a rock star in the snow. I cannot even imagine trying to drive around yesterday in anything but a car so equipped.

^ I can attest to economy all seasons not being any good in winter conditions.
We were in Idaho over the weekend, one of the guys was in a rental Forester & it just plowed straight ahead a few times on snowy/icy roads. Even driving straight on decent roads, it was squirrely.

The only all seasons tires I have ever used that I thought were pretty darn good in up to 3-4inches of snow were Continental DWS and Michilan Pilot Sport AS. They also are rated yearly as the two best all season tires out there so it is no wonder why. You get what you pay for and I agree winter tires are great and can make even RWD cars great in the snow.

i had the DWS on my Lexus and made it through a few inches of snow without any problems... i even made it up a very big hill where some SUVs got stuck because they stopped their momentum... DWS came on the Vagon but i have dedicated blizzaks now so when the DWS goes i'll switch to the DW series... i think Conti makes a great A/S tire so i'll stick with them...

All season tires can at least be somewhat effective in snow but are nowhere near as good as legitimate snow tires.

Definitely an attractive wagon. Been a long time since I've driven any form of Volvo, so no idea on how they drive.

I'd much rather buy this wagon than having to resort to an X5, Grand Cherokee, whatever which I thought was going to be my direction.

I'm no fan of the GT line of BMW's cars, not by a long shot. I don't want new anyways, I want CPO

The RS7 is a blast to drive even if it really isn't a wagon.

that would be a garage, however, it would also be a redundant garage since those 2 cars are in the same niche.

RS7 is a lot more practical than 6GC since it is a Hatch... not redundant at all

I was speaking in terms of the GC, A7 and MBZ, the CLS and the Panamera are all in the same niche.

Yah there is really nothing out there that is comparable to your 5 Wagon anymore.
