Yeah, right? It is an A6 Avant, with 335 HP. But the lifted thing with the plastic cladding on the wheel well, not for me. I guess they think I could swing for a car @$75K, but not for $110K.

I'm scared to go to the Audi show room. They would make me an offer on my Volvo, and I'd be smiling for about 10 seconds of that handjob. Then realize I am paying a mortgage, rent and tuition for a kid in college, and helping my daughter though this economic disaster that is COVID-19. And I know Audi's are an ergonomic orgasm. Yeahhh...for me, the Audi S5 had me at herro. I walked in casually as I was just curious on the Avant as an option to go against what I had for sure thought would be a Volvo wagon or even Merc.

Sitting the Audi changed everything. And they didn't even fire up the car.

Ahh, the F-type. A car so good looking, even in clown shoe form, it wins me over.

Mazda Protege5 anyone...?

I've always love those. When I was in middle school, there was a guy in my neighborhood with a yellow one. I was in love with it.

Always been a fan of the Protoge5, too bad we never got a Mazdaspeed version.

Almost got one brand new back in 2003 .... but ended up opting for a Subie Outback instead .... Still regret that decision to this day.

K, lowered and with different wheels, the Mazda6-gon is nicer.

I like that Skyline nose/front fascia .... but once you said it was based on an Accord wagon, that's all I could see from the A-pillar back .... and it ruined it for me ....

Even though not a Mazdaspeed, these were deceptively quick (as were most V6 family haulers IMO). I test drove a couple of them - the Bose audio and leather seating impressed me.

Gosh, I wish Mazda used sturdier metal back in the day.
