Love the GPW! Congrats on getting back into a S2000. Every once in a while I think I may sell just to help out on expenses and paying for my parents house. Heck I've even had people give me their cards and said to call them if I ever sell. Luckily I've not been dumb enough to do so yet. I may have even found an Asura exhaust for it. Should find out this weekend. Haven't pulled out my S yet but will be very soon. Have to get her prepped for the Spring S2000 BMT in Arkansas in 2 weeks. It'll be my forth one to attend. You guys should go to one if you haven't before.

I rotated my rear tires...and raised it up a little bit...need new rears soon and an alignment...I'l probably come up a half inch so I can stop scraping on all the speed bumps in my our neighborhood.

I think I might be in the market for some new rears too. I have an issue where the car pulls in one direction under hard acceleration and I'm 99% sure that it's the tires.

When I let off gas the car kinda does this side step thing...
I guess toe...who knows, been a few years since I messed with tires or alignment.
I'm on the best fucking coilover I've ever ridden on...even as low as I am...H&R Street Performance...bought them second hand almost 3 years ago.

Pretty much. The NSX is amazeballs as a long distance cruiser....and just as amazing on the track. S2k thinks every road is a track. That's why I'd like both.

Everyone needs a car and a go kart.

your S2K is drop dead gorgeous! Rio yellow would be my second choice after GPW. Perfect drop and your car looks like it is in immaculate condition.

My guess is that you have the same problem I do (mine does the same after letting off the gas) and it's the tires. The explanation I got that makes 100% sense is that when you punch it, the LSD locks up and any difference in tire OD is made incredibly apparent and the car will pull to one side or another. When you let off the gas, the LSD opens up again and allows the wheels to spin at different rates and pulls the car back into straight.

I'll send you my S2000 in exchange for that Vagon...straight up. 2004 AP2 with 47k on the clock.

IF you do it right, Sam...
you have both the S2000 and the Vagon!

That makes perfect sense...I never thought too much about it because I didn't want to drive myself nuts.
Thanks for the explanation!

@HDN thanks, man...it is in very good condition...when I bought it, nothing was done to it, bone stock. Top needed replace which I did...did the works but at this point I'm back to UK modded exhaust and stock intake...that little bit of torque it makes down low without opening up intake and exhaust is more useful around town than the little loss high end and noise I got from it.

Here is how she sat last weekend...
I get stopped and offered money a lot...my gf is like fuck that...i learned stick on it and we do romantic getaways in it...you can't sell it no matter the offer
My ex wife hated the yellow...I am glad I followed my gut on that...I ended up loving it. Specifically this yellow on this car in Florida, just works. I wear short shorts anyway so
people make assumptions I'm okay with no matter what.

Bob got that manual wagon in the most desirable blue...if I had opted to spend that extra money to get that combo the deal was the S2000 had to go in addition to my TL. No sale...I was happy getting black auto Vagon to keep the S2K.

and the V for Sam, of course.

Nice rides...such a good combo.

Replaced my TCT with a Billman Gen X TCT today..Took 5 min because I have a CAI, so it was a breeze. I highly recommend getting a Billman TCT for those that jave not yet done this replacement.

^ Where do I go about getting one of these and how much are they? The S is going under the knife this spring to get a bunch of maintenance stuff done so I might as well do this while I'm at it.

PM BillmanS2K on S2KI.com. There is a core charge which he refunds when you send yours back to him.

Cool, thanks guys. I wish I was out on the east coast to let him do a once over on my car but oh well. I'd rather get the TCT done before it goes on its own...

I don't have any TCT issues but I should probably go ahead and replace mine, especially considering how much I drive my car

I found and trust Billman...so I went with that.
From that thread I posted yesterday they say there's a different design to the Ballade.
I guess read up but I don't think you can go wrong either way.
Shoot...you could do the dremel clean up on the worm gear too...

I'll probably just get the Billman one, he has a good rep.

I work on precision medical devices for a living but I'm not going to dremel a worm gear for a key car part.

no bro, it has nothing to do with the key. it's just this thing that applies tension to the timing chain so that....

Something about that rack seems so sacrilegious. Yet so functional. I'm torn.

Same...

I'd just continue to use the hitch on the Jeep for any bike related transportation.

Take off the front wheel, fold down the backseat and stuff it in there. Oh wait

That was my dilemma. Two cars, one for fun and one for boring. So I get one pseudo-practical car, except it's a technically a three seater.

Except now I got a second vehicle (Montero) and it's just... sitting there.

The hitch looks really stealthy. I like how far the bike is on the rack no chances of scratching your car up.
