One of the top ways you know you drive an s2000 lol.

Then you try it in your DD and realize how fast 30mph around that bend feels in a "normal" car :P

Man, remember back a few years ago when the sportiest car in the Toyota lineup was a Tacoma? It was a dark day when they finally axed the X-Runner.

I should have bought one of those...

650HP S2000 running 11's?

But...that's EVER so slow for a 650HP, 2800LB car.

Don't stock C6 Z06's on DR's run 10.90's?

Replace torque with gearing. Replace 3200LB with 2800LB. Replace the S2000's diff after each run.

German LUXURY cars feel more solid than Hondas. No contest.

But Acura quality and solidness is starting to border BMW...and in some cases surpass Audi. Audis feel solid for about 3-4 years. Then...you realize you've made a mistake.

BMW's are especially stoutly built.

VW's feel like sardine cans.

As far as reliablity goes....there's no way to mention VW/Audi and reliability in the same paragraph unless you're lamenting about how the lack of reliability left you stranded on the road, and how you got eaten by wolves.

Part of the S2000's charm is that its a bit rickety. That aspect of the driving experience is what makes them endearing. You can hear and feel the engine and chassis.

Why is a Z4 stupid and less heralded than a S2000? Because its a solid and incredibly sterile car that's also dick shaped. Dick shaped cars shouldn't be solid and sterile. Even Jesus knew that.

Its the right amount of rickety to be confidence inspiring. The 350Z sounds like its exploding always. This is no good bro.

Nobody buys Audis as lasting cars. Its disposable.

"I'm going to own this Audi for 10 years" - poor people.

Bruh, you don't even no. There's probably a reason you own Honduhs and its because you can't even German cars. You sound foolish when you don't realize that nothing is better than being in a VAG. Shit is so cash yo!

I bought my 15 year old S4 strictly as a project / second daily, not as a reliable primary daily driver. I went in knowing it would have its headaches and would need work, but in the end (especially once it's Stage 2/3), it'll be worth it for sure.

Like the S2000, it has its own charm & timelessness. Unlike the S2000, it builds peak torque at 2500RPM and has back seats

2 different machines for 2 different purposes, I love both equally.. But I most certainly needed both.

Looking for a used intake for the S, where's the best place to find one? I can't stomach spending $300 for some bent tubing and a filter. S2ki is dead and the c-list market for S2000 parts in MN is hopeless.

Also, spoiler installed. Pics when it stops raining.

Time to find somebody who's selling one and willing to ship.

Try S2ki? Also, I know of a great parts group on Facebook that has tons of parts... I already told Penguin about it.

Tried S2ki, nothing other than people parting out their riced out cars.

Can you tell me about it too?

Search: WEST COAST S2000 PARTS FOR SALE

Nope, we don't even have emissions testing at all. I can run no cats all day without an issue. The problem is that I also don't have a mandrel bender.

It already is... I'll check it out, thanks!

btw, sorry I wasn't able to meet up last week. Just too busy and it took 1.5-2hrs to cross the stupid border every day. I'll probably be back in mid July again though.

The stock intake is actually very loud from the outside. If you want to hear it more, just take the lid off. It does rob power to remove the lid. But it makes a lot of noise.

I like the stock intake, personally. Or a CTE intake at most. I don't like "stick and filter" intakes. IMO, they're ugly AF.

I used to be really insensitive in middle/high school.

But I had a sensitiveass friend that was upset over a break up. So I made him a CD full of sad songs and made a label for it that read, "music for when your balls hurt" to make fun of his brooding over a girl.

He actually accepted from me, and played this CD (?!?!?!? LOL). And the label's thickness caused his CD player to malfunction and it got stuck in his CD deck. I'm assuming this added to his issues.

By "used to be insensitive", I mean I still was 5 mins ago.

BTW, I ended up changing the trans/diff fluids in my S2000. I did not enjoy it. I got oil all over my hands and forearms. I wore gloves...but the gloves tore. Pretty sure my oil bottles are pregnant now.

I also forgot my bag of crush washers at home...for the like 90th time that I've done this. So I had to:
-silently let a single tear roll down my cheek so the world would not know that I felt pain.
-go get more washers.

I'm just gonna sell the car the next time it needs maintenance.

I always buy a crap ton of them and then lose the bag between fluid changes.
