Yeah Jes, you need to get that baby out on a track to truly understand how well they perform in just stock form.

The CL has a roommate for a week. . .
Friend went on vacation and asked me to watch his S2000. Have had a blast driving her. 8900rpm is absolutely mind blowing. I've been looking for one for the past year and borrowing this doesn't help me NOT want to buy one. . .
At least now I know I can fit a 3rd car in the garage:

Damn you all! Bringing up this thread when I'm considering a sports car addition to the family. If I'm not careful, I'll blow my wad and just buy a S2k without test driving anything else.
BTW, srika's description of AP1 vs. AP2 earlier in the thread FTW , really helps me out.
PS--is THIS--click a good deal on an AP1?

I can't wait to post pix in this thread. 2002 (AP1) silver/black with 11.6k miles. I pick it up Friday AM. I've now read through every post in this thread. I know many people are AP2 fans here, but an AP1 was all she wrote for me.
I am so excited I can't sleep. Haven't felt this way about a car since I bought a 3G TL 4 1/2 years ago.
I plan to do the Mid-Ohio racing school this summer. It's sponsored by Honda/Acura and while most of the track time is with TSXs, they offer time with their S2ks as well. I want to learn how to drive this little guy properly.
As far as a license plate: NRNBOB should do the trick nicely.
Edit: where is that link about the guy who drives year-round with the top down, and blogs about it. I could swear I found it in this thread, but I can't find it!

Bob, you need to update your other thread before people start recommending other cars
