NA1s should be within reach. I can imagine NA2s are a bit of a stretch.

a Red '94 just traded hands locally for $24k

not sure on the mileage.... super pissed I wasn't aware of the sale though, I would have sold my S for crackhead price to scoop that up.

An NSX is probably the only car I'd willingly sell my S2000 for. That, or a CR for the right price. If that '94 was in good shape for $24k, it would be worth considering.

Have you guys had any issues with your catalytic converter?

Seems to be a common issue on S2ki, but the inside material inside of the catalytic converter shifted and broke the tip off my secondary o2 sensor causing it to throw codes.

Over the weekend I replaced it with an Invidia test pipe and fitted a new secondary o2 sensor.

Unfortunately, I got a CEL this morning and need to run codes when I get home to see what it is, car sounds absolutely tits though, especially as you roll over 6000rpm

I had a test pipe on the car when I got it...sounded mean!

some of those codes are residual, no? Like, they clear but they need to cycle through a few times and see clean before they actually erase. Get yourself a bluetooth OBD reader!

I wouldn't make smart decisions given it was in my price range.

I'd have to bring a friend or two to make sure I didn't sell off my home appliances and dog to be able to close the deal..

Yup, I just wish the iPhone AppStore had a decent ODB2 scanner that uses BlueTooth. Had to dig out an Android phone with my cheap Torque app.

So, upon further inspection it looks like my Invidia test pipe did not come with the o2 sensor fix (looks similar to the 3G Precat delete defoulers you get from RV6).

I ran the codes - P0420 Catalyst system efficiency below threshold - Bank 1

No biggie, I'll pick them up at AutoZone on my way home today .

At autozone, look for the ones that are meant for spark plugs...IIRC correctly, that's what they sell them for locally.

I use iOBD2 (free software) and enjoy it. It's bluetooth, although the wifi version is also available. The software can be configured to run the ELM but I purchased the official iobd2 reader from XTool to ensure full compatibility. Bought it on ebay and it's been great. Just recently transferred it over from the s2000 to the TL-S while the S sits for winter.

What diff fluid are you guys using? Need to change the fluid in my 07. Drove it to work this morning, after almost a 3.5 year layoff.

I sold my AP1 (lots of miles from new I put on), can't sell the AP2, similar to you.

Only NSX I would sell my Rio Ap2 is for a Rio Yellow 04-05 NSX with the full yellow leather interior.

WHen new, locally, they couldn't give the CR away ....

RS, that is EXACTLY the NSX I want also. I've had the pleasure of watching an imola orange S2000 get detailed this past summer, and wow, what a beautiful color. I can only imagine how awesome that orange leather inside the NSX is. The imola NSX has been my desktop picture for the last 6 months at work, lol.

By the way, quit spending so much time here and get back to the 3G ramblings

Not the best photos, but so much want nonetheless...

Oh, and what's that hiding behind the beautiful Imola?? White on red, of course!

When they announced the Imola orange/orange, I wanted that instead of the RIo/Rio. THen I saw it in person, and changed my mind. I remember the sick lease deals they were giving, it was all over NSX Prime at that time.

To me I prefer the Chrome ORange of the Lotus or the Bright orange of the Lambos, instead of the dull orange popularized by the Volvo C70 which the Imola reminds me of.

Yeah, you know it. I believe this is 1 of 2 in my city.

Not gonna lie- I'd have a very hard time choosing between the imola/black vs. white/red if I was looking to buy. The orange exterior is so beautiful, but so is the red interior. Thank god I don't fit in the S2000

Imola was a factory color on the S2000? Reminds me of my Blaze Orange RSX...which I loved the color of!

Very nice!

I want one...I can't find my pictures I took of the orange on orange one!

Yup, it was. But not in the US. I see a lot of the purple S2000 and the Imola Orange S2000 on s2ki whenever someone from England posts a picture.

A friend of mine had the first '02 NSX in that color. It looked amazing. He kept it for a year and sold it for more than he paid for

8 days until the public NAIAS in Detroit. I can hardly wait for the new NSX that will be there. If it's reasonably priced.....buh-bye, S2000!

......but it won't be. So I'll have to settle for the RLX Sport Hybrid and its related drivetrain, and keep dreaming of my bucket list NA2 as it continues to drop in price.

Isn't it in 4 days they'll be showing the production version of the NSX 2.0? I thought it was happening on the 12th...

I'm expecting it to be in the 135-145k range. We'll see though.
