Yes I do it's like fucking everybody loves raymond around here. I am an only child and so is my wife, we all get along pretty good. Due to my work, I spend some nights gone and my parents provide a good support base for my wife and 2 small sons. We have lived here for 4 yrs and so far so good. I help my dad take care of his place since he had heart surgery a few years ago. It's pretty nice to also have an instant babysitter. I knew someone would catch that and comment about it.

The S is known to have a relatively weak diff, so more frequent fluid change is always a good precaution.
It's also why they put in the clutch delay valve in the AP2's. That way you fry the clutch instead of the diff..

More thinking out loud I think I've said this before but an older (50+) woman driving an S2000 is There's this 50 y.o. lady around my school who I've seen on 2 occasions driving a PY ITR. I did a double take the 2nd time I saw that, even...

However, there are some tracks that are just more fun in a nimble little roadster then the beast that the Viper is.
Plus, I just like the S2k and miss my old one

I've always wanted a porsche 911 since I was a kid, but every time I think seriously about getting one, I remind myself that the S2K has a lower cost of ownership...
You can't really beat the bang for the buck... an S2k is probably the best sportscar out there for ~ $20K... To get a decent 911 for 20K, you're talking about buying a 20 year old car...

Is there ANY way an S2000 could be driven through a winter, let alone a MN winter? I have to say, I never see them around here from Nov. til Apr.
I've been thinking about selling the CL-S and getting an old Xterra or QX4 as a winter beater and finance an S2000, but three cars in the house is one too many at this point.

I been reading up on it. Audi club wont let me join their track days unless i get a roll cage. AMS will let me track with them without anything. Same track, different club.
SO its really up to the club if they want to obey SCCA rules. While I dont want a roll cage, I do want some sort of safety which is why i will most likely get a roll bar at least. Too many roll over pictures on s2ki freaked me out.

Tires make all the difference. Get some Blizzak LM-22s and your good to go.

If it makes you feel any better - the car was rolled multiple times in-house by Honda to make sure it complied with standards for CLOSED roof cars i.e. its as safe as a car with a roof, if not safer.

^ If they so safe then why are most clubs starting to be more strict on the policy about roll over protection. Granted im sure its mostly do to insurance policies.
I wont be getting one anytime soon anyways. Lets see how often I get a chance to track before dropping the money on it.
So plate ideas.....
