Defender is such a good looking truck, IMO.
Gets pricey really quickly, though.
Crazy how quick that 392 launched against the BRaptor.
The Euro race went about how I expected. But the winner is $$$$
Had they brought a Defender 110, to have all 4 door utes, it would've been spanked.
I'm definitely enjoying the 6.2LS in the Denali right now. Torque is great.
Guessing in the real world the 392 is the lowest overall maintenance costs, followed by the Braptor, with the other 2 definitely being for a different clientele..

Holy shit balls is right. There is no denying the performance of EV but there is just something about the sound of an engine that is hard to let go

Agreed - I was talking to someone the other day about EVs and I think they put it well: "There is no denying the performance, but at the same time, they have no soul..........."

That said, blasting off the line is a ton of fun and I haven't missed the engine sound lol. I find that the engine sound thing to be a cop out for getting smoked. Especially considering that the EV can do all that and also use about an eighth the amount of energy in the process.

That's an interesting take. Like most things, I think it's more complicated than that. Here is my two cents.
Brand loyalty may be declining for luxury, or near-luxury brands because:
The line between luxury is getting even more blurred as once luxury features make it into the mainstream.
Everything is an SUV these days. Let's face it, with the exception of a handful of standouts, SUVs are all the same. Some even look very similar.
Yes, some people aren't willing to put up with being all too familiar with their Service Advisor so much so that they abandon the brand. However, I think a big part of dumping a luxury brand, in this regard, is the ownership experience. If you buy into a luxury brand the service experience should be consumate. This is not always the case (ahem, Lincoln).

Buddy just picked one up in white, Prestige, and block optics with 118k miles.
Lets just say ... I want to dump my A7 & buy that like nobody's business

What sucked about the 1/4 mile is it was a hot day and I guess the Engine Mgmt retards the timing of the MAF or something of that nature and limits the power. That is a very low trap speed (118) for a 11.6 run. The car is chipped and has around 700hp. So if it wasn't for that timing retard I should have been knocking on 10's at close to 130 mph. Was pretty annoying that day - it was very hard to get that 11.6, I had to do a pretty serious brake torque. I did a few other runs and they were all 12.0 and 12.1 at 118.

whether it runs 12secs or 10 secs, most of us would take the RS7 over the Tesla.
