Doug covers the new Defender, which I had no idea was out.

I would never buy a British car, but here it is. If nothing else, look the cool button functionality at 14:45. The interior aesthetic really fits. Exterior would look decent too were it not for those stupid floating squares on the C-pillar

Land Rover really took a gamble on this one. It us truly utilitarian. The U in SUV. I give them props for doing this vehicle, but wonder how it will sell. Hopefully they keep the volume low.

Didn't even realize that this is now the Nurburgring production car record lap holder. An Aventador?!?!

But the focus of this video is on the sound :jizz:

Nothing and I mean NOTHING tops this crazy video from California

FWIW, the driver of the minivan was eventually located and arrested.
the motorcyclist was released from the hospital, lot of road rash but no broken bones or internal injuries
Just unreal to watch that video

That's crazy! How much faster than the bike was he going for it to get stuck like that instead of bouncing off instead? Or the van rode up the rear tire and got caught between the fender?

Glad to hear the rider is okay, and they caught the guy. The way he ditched it, either it was stolen or he probably reported it "stolen".

Few months back, my security cam caught an idiot (likely drunk) plowing into the back of neighbor's parked car at ~4am, sending the poor guy's car sliding forward a few dozen meters. Neighbor's car looked totaled. The suspect's car was reported stolen, not sure how much truth there was to it. A few seconds after the crash, you could see a dude running away from the scene - again, at 4am.

Interesting. CHP estimates the van was only going about 5 mph faster than the bike.

^ There was a TV interview with the rider who was able to walk some after the accident before the ambulance arrived looking around for his motorcycle.
He kept asking the people who were helping him where his motorcyle was.

I guess at a low enough speed, it's more likely to walk up the rear tire, rather than ejecting the bike away from the front end.

Holy damn. That's friggin awesome.

How much is a Regera anyways? I reckon its all sold out....guessing 3-4M+ at least?

Must be nice to be filthy rich....the gold accents/bits are a bit tacky but other than that it's perfect.

It's a perfect balance of incredible engineering with beauty/design/passion....

I think it's ~2M. That one is more than likely ~3 (just guessing). The funny thing is I hadn't seen a Regera I liked until I watched that video this morning.

Dang.....not as bad as I thought....but I think its limited production run and if you have that kind of money I'd bet those buyers can easily afford custom stuff/options that will total more than most people's homes and entire retirement savings.....

Yep. If you really want to be humbled about how life has turned out for you check out Manny Khosbin on YouTube. He's a constant reminder that I haven't tried hard enough in life. His collection is amazing.

Jesus....just saw a couple real quick....insane garage...and of course all those chinese-looking mofos driving Huayras and the LaFerrari during that LA cars and coffee.....sigh.....

Well there are these levels of wealth out there...

Though I still think Leno's garage is a proper car enthusiasts garage....he can afford all that Manny can and even more but I think his collection is lot more interesting than simply buying whatever is the most expensive/latest or having multiple Bugattis....to each their own I guess.

Well, there's still a chance to win the next Powerball/Mega Millions....

As I watched this video I thought, "I would have never thought that I would be clicking on a video where two stupid fast SUVs race." But here we are...

The only relevant part of this review, skip to 14:41. You're welcome.

Otherwise I 100% agree with Mark. These performance SUVs, to me, are completely boring and a waste of money. But to some they have value.

I know we don't usually post social media videos in here but this is the best sounding M4 I've ever heard. They swapped out the twin turbo for a single and the engine/exhaust note is glorious. 2JZ ish

At least it's actually a targa again. IIRC, it was the 996 that was just a huge pano roof. Wasn't really a targa, as the 'bars' were still present from the hoop to the windshield.

Gunther Werks is actually ahead of Singer when it comes bespoke Porsche coachbuilders.

The best body style (993), with a 4.0L, fully formed in custom carbon if you can afford it... what's not to love?

Yup Sketch Monkey, you're right.

Modern Mustangs, as ubiquitous as they are still make my head turn when I see one. Just very nicely designed. BMW apparently thought the Stang was a looker too. Sketch Monkey showed what I've always seen.

I guess since Honda discontinued the Accordstang Coupe, someone had to take up the mantle.

Maybe not as good as SavageGeese and AoA, but Matt does some decent videos.

Typically he does a driving video and smartly also does a interior with Beth (g/f?) who also comments.

They just increased the value of that NSX even more. And then the host drives it on a wet road After that undercarriage detail, I was thinking, "now this car will never get driven". I wonder if the driving portion was done before the detail.

Well that blows the LuLaRoe Agera out of the water.
Posted in the Tuatara thread that they had reserved the same stretch of NV highway between Vegas/Pahrump & made the run, but hadn't publicized anything official at the time.

IIRC, from the Agera run, the outbound leg is slightly downhill, & the Agera hit something like 285mph.

Just under 4 seconds 200-230mph. Another 13ish seconds and it's doing 300.

That's mind boggling.
