The build is cool, but asinine, downgrade IMO.
If it was an SS or another model, sure. But it's already a T-Type FFS.

Whats up with RDX owners?

But the exhaust note isn't far from what the v6 sounded like, so I don't really hate it. It probably would be a better driver without the MB 5AT though.

I remember the Jalop article for that S600. "Turn your used Benz into a Pagani"

If you were to rank the types of people who keep it real, rally co-drivers have to be close to the top. The world is coming at them at very high speed and their ass is on the line also if their driver screws up. There’s no time nor room for bullshit. And, really, what’s stopping co-drivers like this one Australian man from also being life coaches? I think it happens to be a very transferrable skill.

Here's a 2 minute video of a Model 3 driving itself. Stopping at stop lights, stop signs, going on the highway on ramps, off ramps, merging, left turns, right turns, etc. All by itself.

The technology is fascinating, but a 12yr old in a booster seat could drive that route. My gripe since day one is what happens when youre not driving in perfect conditions?
If there is an accident on the highway does the car know to merge into a different lane? What about road work were a cop is directing traffic one side at a time? Real world issues

Yes, it is very impressive how much progress has been made....but just like you said, the real world driving with TRUE auto-pilot is extremely complex and I think a world of truly autonamous driving probably won't be here in our lifetime or even longer. Several decades maybe..... The complexity of millions (billions?) of real world variables/combinations alongside the vehicle/software/occupants and road/environmental conditions make it a much more difficult task than appears to be currently available with current AI/sensors.

Given Senna's recent anniversary, I thought this video from Top Gear is appropriate. Sorry if repost...did a search and got nothing.

A video I often re-watch because of how much I love Senna and the original NSX is both legends together at Suzuka...dancing. Probably a known vid for most of you AcuraZiners too.
No helmet and in loafers. Wow.

MW Retro Review
Popped up in my YT suggestions. An 82 300SD was my 2nd car, after my 82 240D was totalled.
Far from a fast car, at all, 2nd slowest thing I've driven, just ahead of the 240D. But I was 17 with a Mercedes, so I was happy. Definitely had enough torque to kick the rear end out when it shifted to 2nd.
Mine was pretty much identical to the one in the video, but had dark navy leather, and the Becker stereo was replaced with a newer unit.
