I like the old ones better as well, they seemed to flow more with the car...

edit: wow 18lbs each?

18lbs?
damn!
Don't get me wrong these look good but the old ones looked better.
Why did the old ones rub, aren't those DPE(?) wheels custom?

So, you have to actually keep polishing these wheels, right? like Meguires powerball style?
Sharp. regardless.

coulda sworn they were 20's i guess it's the angle...at any rate they look sharp as hell on your car....and at 18lbs a piece you can't beat that with a bat.

I have a question...Does anyone know if the orange gauge lighting can be changed or replaced? it's no big deal but if I could get some white lighting it'd be much better for night and day driving.

can't be changed unless you rip the dash apart and replace all the LED's etc...which isn't really realistic.

Don't jets use orange lighting for visibility purposes? Same concept behind shooting goggles.

I have nothing against orange...it's just that I've had it in my 00 328i, 04 330xi and now in an 07 335i...I mean why can't they change..I can't tell you how much easier and more pleasing it is to look at the gauges in the MDX at night...not complaining just saying and asking

I agree but it's funny that night vision is always green

Not too sure about the chrome finish, but the wheels still look awesome!!

Btw, I can't believe you haven't blacked out your kidneys like everyone else. Isn't there a rule to be on E90Post you must do that?

I've been on the wall about blacked grills too, but its so common I decided against it as well. $100 I could spend on something better for the car.

I believe BMW chose to make their gauges orange because they are two colors where the human eye doesn't dilate (in contrast to the vibrant blue-white Acura gauges). The subdued color choice is supposed to decrease any potential disorientation during night driving when you move your eyes from the gauges to the road.

Jade has always been available as an option in Canada, but no one orders it... I've yet to see one with it except for a demo at BMW Mississauga.

No way would I order that color for a daily driver. It looks neat (like the Lemon interior) but would be a pain to keep clean.
