The Official BMW 3-Series Discussion Thread
I just think the 3 GT is superfluous. It's the same problem with the X5/X6. The X6 looks good to me, actually... I'd just feel silly getting that over an X5.
The new BMW 3 series is heavily overrated imo.
Lexus IS 350 F Sport not only have performance but is incredibly luxurious. Surreal.
Even BMW Dealers told me that 'Lexus is more luxurious, BMW doesn't really focus on that as much'.
Once again if it wasn't for that Japanese situation, BMW would not have taken that #1 lead in Luxury Sales.
Anyways, BMW 3 Series have good cars, nothing against them. But their 'cool factor' is dying out badly(especially in California)
That new Lexus Spindle Grill is a big hit and everyone notices it(most love it).
But of course most posters at ACURAZINE will naturally hate on Lexus.
It's natural. Acura is like the big brother, the first child, the guy who took little brother Lexus under his wings during their childhood. Now the big brother is doing a decent 9 to 5 job and living a decent life with a average wife. But the little brother is the head CEO of a successful law firm and living in a 20 bedroom mansion with his own personal chef and 5 swimming pools in a giant backyard as big as the park big brother Acura takes his ugly kids to every weekend for their picnics.

If you've been following this guy's tenure around here, you know this isn't an issue of unpopular opinion. He's just going around bomb-throwing. It's clearly a trolling activity at this point.

As to Brian6speed, your question of "as bad" is entirely subjective. They're both awful, but for different reasons. Honestly, if I had any say in the matter, they'd both be gone.
Also - please, oh please, don't tell me to just put them on ignore. That function still lets the Troll win insomuch as his/her goal is to disrupt the normal conversation. Ignore just creates gaps, which are also disruptive. Either way, Troll wins.
Anyone here own or has owned an E36? It's been on my radar lately. I'd like to find a 325 or 328 coupe, and would pay for a well-maintained one. Unfortunately, the only ones on classifieds are high-mileage or beat-up models for peanuts.

, IMO.

I'd rather get a X3, especially when RWD isn't available.
