Well I just got back from the 2003 NYC Auto show and it was great. I know that I am not a huge poster here but I thought I would try to give back a little. I am kinda new to image hosting so I hope this works. I used Imageevent so host these so don't kill me if it doesn't work.

I have to say that I am in love with the G35 coupe now. I am 6'4 and didn't think i had a prayer of fitting in it or the Z but I will tell you that there is so much leg room it is nuts. that is 100000% my next car. The interior is by far NOT cheap but the Z's is very cheap and plasticy. I love it. The other winners from the show were the Chrystler 300C / Hemi, Hummer H2, Mustang Concept, and the pontiac 4 door sport concept. I am very dissapointed in the Acura TL concept. Quite frankly it sucks. The current TL is much nicer. I know it is only a concept but still.......

The car show was so great - lots of cool concept cars this year - my fav wasn't a car though, it was that disturbing Dodge motorcycle, i think it has like a Viper engine in it or something

whoops, i looked at it closer, the rx-8 does resemble the s2k in a huge way...

 

Only $10 to get in and I think the Show runs until NEXT Sunday like 8-8 or something like that

 

yeah, it was a nice show. i took my fiance's little brother at noon on friday.

let me tell you, it was packed.

did anyone wait in the line at volkswagen?
we waited to get a plastic beetle convertible toy car.


not sure if it was worth waiting in line for 40 minutes though.

i also took many pics. about 75 high quality. it will take me some time to load it on yahoo.

honestly, the show wasn't that impressive. maybe it has to do with how many i've been to. there are always the few impressive new models and concepts.

also, the concept TL is not that impressive. i still like the current '03 model. acura couldn't even complete a full detailed model. the clay model's interior was not complete. quite disappointing in fact.

we still had a good time.

 

I sure had a goot time too. I actually thought the show was better this year then last though. I actually got to sit in the G35 and the Z instead of just look at it. But my parents were rather ticked (I went with them) b/c my mother has an Audi A8 and she wanted to sit in the new one and they locked it. They are thinking about buying a 2nd one and they didn't care. They wouldn't open it. Oh well.

 

The blue A8 was locked, but not the silver.....it was great inside.

The Zs looked sweet as did the g35c. My favorite is the car I hope to own someday which was the E55!!! Damn that car is gorgeous inside and out! I sat in an E320 and then the E55 and what a world of difference interior wise! I love the M5, which they didn't even have, but I don't recall it being very different from a regular 5 interior wise (the controls and console were pretty much the same). Made my TLS feel, ehhh .

 

From what I've gathered, the TL at the show didn't have an interior.

Man, I wish I coulda gone to that show...
