Shot a quick video to show how much the Velocity Red Mica sparkles in the sun, as well as the metallic in the RX8 wheels powerdercoat.

Installed a Sickspeed white ball shift knob today. I know it's probably not everyone's cup of tea, but I love the contrast with my black interior.
Found a good use for my broken carbon fiber seatpost from my road bike. There was a gap of space between the knob and boot so cut a section from the seatpost and used it as a spacer MacGyver-style.

I like!
Out of curiosity, how long did it take to get used to where reverse is located compared to the Accord?

And no, it's not weighted, it's like 200g but it shifts smoother than the stock knob. Just took it for a ride and it's sooo nice!

I take it you're looking for a weighted one? I had this one on the Accord and it was as heavy as the stock knob. I think it was somewhere around 350g and felt great. I just decided to try something a little different this time.
Here's a shot I took this morning of the knob how I see it most of the time, so although the carbon isn't really noticable, it's feels great on my finger tips that overlap the knob.

I prefer weighted knobs. Although some trannies don't really need them.

My shiftknob is almost 700 grams!
Congrats on the new shiftknob. It was very cool with that CF post.

I heard some great things about Moddiction too! They seem to have all the good stuff with affordable pricing.

Haven't had much time to do anything to the MS6 since moving, but I did decide to treat myself to a little something once we got here...

So why did people talk you out of a SRI?

The difference in terms of performance between CAI and SRI is negligible. It's just a damn intake. I don't know exactly how a regular 6 reacts to the intake system, but for Speeds, they are essentially the same. The only reason a majority of people choose SRI over CAI is that it's much easier install and stock out.

Ha ha thanks, I think... cute? Tee-hee-hee!
I agree with you, but the naturally aspirated 4's might be a different story. I know on my Accord, although it was a V6 not an I4, the CAIs way out performed the SRIs. On our boosted engines it's true that the HP gain is pretty much the same between both.
That people are dumb dude.

^ I looked at a Spec B before I bought my MS6. Don't regret for a second passing on it for the Speed6. It was a sick car, don't get me wrong, but the MS6 is a way better value for the money. The Spec B commands top dollar while you can steal a MS6 and they're just, if not more, rare than the Scuby. I personally like the stying of the Speed6 a little better as well. The Spec B is a little too understated for me.
