Yeah yeah yeah, well no turning back now. We're official Tennessee residents with TN drivers licenses, plates, registration and now a house. Arizona will always be a great place to visit.

Well I got the car back yesterday and I'm pleased to say there's absolutely no evidence of hail damage at all.

Just picked up a Protege Garage TIP off of the classifieds.

And so glad I got the OCC installed. I drained it for the first time Saturday and there was quite a bit of an oil/gas mixutre that came out. Glad that's being caught and not retuned into my intake any longer.

I supposed I'll throw in the most recent photo too so it's not just words and no visual.

Yep, real 4x4 stance and drivetrain.

Almost forgot, I recently got a new knob, too.

And at least you have AWD to go along with that 4x4 stance

PG TIP installed this morning. Not much to report back in terms of performance or sound since I haven't had a chance to really get on it, but from scooting around town the turbo seemed to boost a little quicker. PITA installation as well.

Yeah, you should just shop around for a new car, not a new knob.

Those are two completely different beasts. The COBB is super light while the Anvil2 is super heavy. But yeah, you should probably hold off on buying on if you're considering selling your car lolz.

My one year anniversary of purchasing my MS6 was yesterday. After one year and 18,000 miles I'm still as happy, if not happier, with her as I was the day I took her home. Knock on wood the only non-maintenance things I've had to do was clean the EGR to clear a CEL and replace a dash board light bulb that went out, otherwise she's been a super reliable, fun as hell car that I hope to enjoy for many more years to come.

I'm so very glad you are pretty satisfied with it! I would have felt super bad if it was giving you constant troubles since I highly recommended the car to you when you were looking at it. haha

I had my car for almost 3 years with zero problem so far. Let's keep our cars for a long time!

I'm planning on keeping it until it's paid off, but I said that about the Accord too lol. But yeah, I'm so glad the car worked out as well as it has. It's really fun to drive, decently ecomomical and it's safe for the little one.

Well get started mang! There's a lot you could do to it, just get that tranny issue taken care of first.

Yes, I can possibly get a new car like right now.

And yes, DEW IT. H&R coilovers have some good reviews on our cars!

I have to share my moment. Saturday morning we stopped at Dunkin' Donuts before driving to our in-laws for Memorial Day. As I'm waiting for the cashier to open the drive up window I pull my debit card out of my wallet and start tapping it on the top of my door panel joking with my wife how this particular girl always messes up my order. Next thing I know the card slips out of my grasp and falls down into the window channel and I hear it smack against the bottom of the inside of the door panel. So this morning I tackled retreiving my card.

All I can say is thank god for the internet and car forums. I was able to track down a drivers door teardown on mazdaspeedforums . org. I was able to pull the bottom of the inner plastic skin out enough on the bottom not to have to take it completely off which saved me from taking the glass out and the door latch off. An hour after I started I have my card back and a funny story to share.
