Thanks Kevin!

So what color MS6 hood are you looking for? Your M6 is black right?

Yup.

I'm thinking about doing the MZ6 to MS6 front conversion so I can get my fogs!

Also I keep looking at your RX-8 wheels I can't wait to see them mounted, my buddy just bought tires for his to put on his wife's 6

Oh cool, that would look awesome! I love the front end of the MS6. Definitely a little more aggressive than the normal 6.

I can't wait to get the RX8 wheels mounted either. I'm going to call Discount Tire today to find out about the Continental DSWs because they say "Special Order" on the website. Hope they don't take too long to come in. Discount Tire is headquartered in AZ so hopefully they have some locally to sell me. I still need to paint my current centercaps to match the new wheels since I couldn't find a set of used ones for a reasonable price on eBay. Then everything gets clear coated and the tires get mounted and I'm ready to put them on. Although I'm sure they'd look 100x better if I had dropped the car like I was planning on, I've seen a few MS6s with the RX8 wheels at the stock ride height and it's not ridiculous looking like aftermarket wheels since after all they are OEM Mazda wheels.

Haha that's funny guys. It's a great car if you like to work on your own car and not get bent over at the dealership. So far I've been able to handle the maintanence myself and the CEL-EGR issue, but it I wasn't a do-it-yourselfer I'd probably be upset with my decision to get a Mazda because I'd be down well over a grand.

I'm not a do-it-yourself either, I can do little things, on most of the others I check out the forums and talk to the local guys.

Well I mean do-it-yourselfer, I mean it on things that aren't super complicated. The EGR valve/tube wasn't hard to do, it just took a long time due to getting to know the engine and a ton of parts had to come off in order to get to them both. The other maintanence I've done is changing the tranny, transfer case and rear diff fluids. Again, not a hard job but took some time figuring out where the fill and drain plugs were and getting the fluids out and in. The spark plugs were a sinch and not hard at all, but you have to take the intercooler off so it's not just popping the hood and looking right at where they go. Not hard stuff at all, but some people don't want to touch anything themselves so this would not be the car for them IMO.

The wheels look great, ST! I have to say though, a little lower would be perfect. But I've seen that video of your AV6 scraping on your driveway...

Thanks yo. Yeah our curb/driveway sucks, but we are moving to Nashville next month.

I still have them, but a local guy wants to buy them from me. I'm not sure what to do. I was just going to keep them but I kind of want to help the guy out since he has two bent MS6 wheels on his car now and is a nice dude.

Todd!

Looks great man! It really fits the car very well!

Make sure to get a house with smooth driveway when you move to Nashville. That should be the main deciding factor.

I think his car is running something like 450whp. This is what happens if we put a bigger turbo in our cars.

The stock turbo that we are rocking is smaller than our fist. Did you know that? haha

Thanks bro. You're only 23 years old though, you have plenty of time to get one. I too had a CL and eventually moved onto the MS6 (with the Accord 6mt in between). The CL is still a fun car.

Yea, I enjoy the CL, but FWD really sucks. And seeing all the relatively cheap and easy mods for the Mazdas, I get very jealous.

Car looks sexy as hell! Wow. I hate to say it but ..

Car needs a drop

I got to drive a 350z recently and it really made me realize FWD is so limiting .. I'm kind of ready to move to AWD / RWD for my next car.

I wish I had your center console,

I wish I had your pedals as well.

I love how Mazda made the Exhaust on these as well.

Although I haven't really gotten to fully enjoy the AWD yet, I know what you mean, FWD gets old after a while and is limited. I was pretty dead set against getting FWD for this car.

As soon as someone makes some legit conservative springs for the MS6 I'll do it. Until then... 4x4 mode yo!

Don't blame it on the FWD system as a whole. You guys just have boring FWD cars.

Couple years ago, I did trade my 3G TL with my friend's 350Z Nismo for about a month. Yes, it was a very fun to drive for sure. But compare to my MS3, the level of fun factor is pretty similar. It's just different type of "fun".

FWIW this is how it sits with a full tank of gas. The photos above were with a 1/4 tank so it does sit a tiny bit lower filled up. Or am I just reaching here lol.
