That turned out nicely.
Guess you'll have to get rid of your D'Backs plates soon.

'08 MX5 GT 6spd.
Do you have any interest in tinting your brake lights?
I have enough left to do mine again and...ship you enough for your tailights, reflectors and third brake.

The color match is great. The photo is deceptive because of the curve in the fin reflecting the sky. Look at the color of the reflection on top of my back bumper in the next shot. It's the same tone. In person it looks perfect. It even has a bit of metallic in it like the mica in my paint, but admittedly less than on the car.

Uhh, yeah, I think I'd skip that one too. Welcome to the heart of the South, son.

You joke but I had bought an eBay one and it was basically like I was going to have to home make it. Decided to get a quality one instead.

Well the last 72 hours have proved to be quite interesting for my Speed6.
Friday: Tornado rolls into Nashville and hits full force while I'm going to pick up my son from daycare. I knew things were going to be bad when the sirens started going off and a massive black cloud was on the horizon. Literally the second after I got my son into my car the hail started. It sounded like my car was being riddled with bullets. I counted 16 dings and dents yesterday. The hail was quarter to golfball size. I'm actually shocked my windshield was not broken. Thankfully our Progressive deductable is $100 so not too much damage to the wallet, just to the Speed6's sheet metal. What a welcome to the mid-south! Photos to come.
Saturday: I met up with about 17 other Mazdaspeeds at a local NATOR TN/KY meet in Clarksville, TN. We cruised over to Kentucky Lake, which was amazing. Met a ton of cool dudes with awesome cars, had my OCC installed by the man that sells the kits and knows them inside out and had a blast driving with the group through some twisties all to finish off at Patti's Restaurant to have a delicious meal. I made a video of my footage, but there were a bunch of guys with cameras and go-pros.

Todd -
Sorry to hear about the damage to the car, but I'm glad you and your family are okay.

Official bill to the paintless dent removal shop for the hail damage is $2,500. Out of pocket for me $100. Thanks Progressive!

It's actually right around what I was expecting. I think the guy said there was a total of 25 small dents and 3 large ones and he said mine was very minor compared to most of the cars they were seeing. The guy sitting next to me had $4,600 of damage. I'm just hoping it's not one of those deals where I start noticing small dings they missed as time passes by. Hope these guys are thurough.

You might recall when we had some pretty significant hail here a couple of years ago. One of my coworker's cars (an MS3) was out in the storm and the entire top and hood were covered in dents, as well as some dents on the back of the hatch and the c-pillar. The PDR people did wonders; there was no evidence of dents anywhere after they were finished with the car.
I wonder if that was the same hail storm that I went through in early 2007? By complete luck I was in a rental car on my way to return it to Acura of North Scottsdale after they replaced my CL-Ss auto tranny. I was only in it for about 10 seconds before I was able to pull into a covered parking spot in their parking lot.

Thanks for sharing, T, that's definitely reassuring! The guy said it'll most likely be done tomorrow unless they have a hard time getting hold of a replacement piece of roof molding which was damaged as well.
