no way, i gotta hand it to Caddy, the Escalade looks wonderful. Very classy in both interior and exterior cues. Better than anything in its class.

I know im one of the very few that like the 07 navigator better than the escalade. The escalades rear end and interior just dont do it for me.

Vs.

Plus, everyone and their brother will get an Escalade, Navigators will be more unique and i think the interior is second to none.

If i was forced to buy an Escalade, I'd get the Second generation over the third.

haha i love those guages, they are unique to lincoln. they are classy and remind me of the old town cars (even though the old town cars arent a good thing to be reminded about) but i still like those guages.

The new Lincoln interiors scream "HEY I'M AN OLD MAN!"
The blue gauges on the new Escalade are actually kinda nice.

The problem with full-size SUVs is that they suck.
I dunno, I would probably go Toyota/Lexus if I had to have something
in the segment. The Nissan Armada/Infiniti QX do not reassure me in terms
of quality control.

Yeah i agree.
Id take a LX470 or LandCruiser over any of the above SUVs. But if I had to chose between a Navigator or Escalade, Id take a Navigator.

The front end of the Navigator looks hideous! The grill looks like a fat chick with braces.

At the same price, I would take an LX over an Escalade, but I'll pass when you factor in the $12,000 difference between an LX and Escalade.

On Caddy.com, with all options selected, I came out to:

With dealer mark up, you're probably lookin at 70 or more.

the ESV is a waste IMO. a year or 2 at the NY auto show I took a look at the ESV, and the trunk has about 2 feet of extra trunk space and thats it compared to the regular one. unless you like the look of the extra long, or realllllly need that little extra space, not worth the money

Forgot to add in the 22" option:

MSRP $56,405
22" Rims $2,995
Info Pack $2,495
Rear Seat $1,295
Power Sunroof $995
Climate Package $625
2nd Row Power $425
Destination $875
Total $66,110

I can easily see them going for over 70K with dealer markup but anyone who pays that is a damn fool when they will be selling for $2,500-$3,000 off within a few months.

Navigator gauges are HORRIBLE....and they clash with the center console design.

I like the new Audi Q7 the best in the large SUV class. And at $65K MSRP fully loaded I think it's a good deal.

I'm pretty sure the wood is real. I don't like the Nav's interior, but quality-wise, it had the edge over the Caddy. I'm surprised GM has not managed to get it right with the Escalade. A big improvement over the outgoign Escalade, but not enough IMO.

That interior is truly disgusting. Escalade is way better even though I'm not a fan of either, or SUVs in general.
