My V wagon was born three years ago last week! I took delivery just a week under three years ago.
I am so ashamed, though. I have driven my V wagon only 4000 miles in the last 13 months. *hangs head in shame*
I just drove it to the dealer this morning for the first oil change in a year (oil is still at "56%"!) and rear diff oil change. Putting on winter tires/wheels this weekend, hopefully.
No new news otherwise. While the RLX Sport Hybrid has been fun to drive, I'll be switching off daily duty between the V wagon and NSX when winter ends. Can't wait!

Thankfully, no. The rust spot was from a bad weld and that was fixed, so there shouldn't be more rust. Then again, the premature rust is what prompted me to take my wagon out of winter daily driving duty. I no longer drive it when there is slush and snow on the street; that's what the RLX is for--it's leased and I don't GAS about whether it rusts.
Any other day, I take I take the wagon out and just make sure I wash it (as I did before) when I'm done playing with it.

How often do you recommend changing the rear diff oil?

Definitely two philosophies from two continents/heritages coming from two different angles. Both should be very enjoyable driving machines in their own ways!

I change my diff oil every 10k miles or once a year, far more often than the manual states. I find this limits the amount of diff noise the car makes. Generally, if the diff groans in low speed turns when it's cold, it's time to change the diff oil. I've never had a diff replaced on either V I've owned with this approach. That's over 75k miles of V driving experience for me.
The standard advice on the V forums is to stick to the GM diff oil with additive. I'll look up the part number and update here later, since I don't recall it off the top of my head.

It'll also be interesting because I think both cars are around similar price points in terms of market value. Obviously I don't know how much you paid but I think the V and the NSX are probably worth somewhere in the ballpark of ~50k-60k...ish?
So it provides a fairly good comparison I think at a certain price point. And at 50-60k that is likely the upper limit of an average joe/middle class to upper middle class affordable dream car area. So good to compare cars in that price range and see what each can offer.
I'll hope to be as lucky when I get to the stage where I can be considering cars like that in the futre!
But yeah definitely would look forward to a write up/review. Would be very awesome and gives you additional excuse to do some nice spirited driving in both machines as well. "Yes Mrs. Bob I have an important assignment to attend to this weekend...I'll be out for a couple days!"

My local Cadillac dealer charges $120. 
Yeah, dealer tax, but I don't have time to do it myself. At least the oil change I had at the same time last week was free, as part of Cadillac's free oil change program (four years).
The part number you need for the diff oil is 88862624. It is Dexron 75W-90 LS gear oil with friction additive. I don't think the older diff oil without friction additive is produced anymore, but I could be wrong.

Yeah at that price I think I might try and find the time to do it myself. Especially with the amount of times it seems most people are doing them on the forum and the amount of miles I am going to put on yearly probably being around 20k it will probably be good to do it once a year. At least the process doesn't look too difficult. Guess it is time to find a good fluid injection gun. Thanks for info and the part number.

The differ fluid swap is easier than oil...
all you need is a little quart pumper...
you probably own a ratchet already...normally it's just the 3/8" square head bolt (although just saw on my bud's challenger it's an allen's wrench head.)
Put on your Steely Dan, lay on your back and swap it out...easy peasy. Protip, always start with the fill bolt too...because if you can open the drain one first and have trouble getting the fill one off, well...logic and whatnot.

Diff Fluid Change
I ordered that exact tool rockstar just posted and along with 2 quarts of fluid off Amazon and will tax my order came our at under $60 with everything. So with the tool it will be half the price the dealer charged you Bob.
Also the drain bolts for it are 10mm hex key.
I am going to do mine this coming weekend so I will report back and let everyone know how it is. The procedure says one you have the hang of it you can do it in 20-30min.

Since you know the size, I'd suggest you order a set of hex bits on socket heads...I'm sure you can try and use your allen wrench set but I bet it'll be hard to get enough leverage since most are only 5" long.

Good point. Just ordered a set of them. Wanted a Craftsman set but the cost wasn't worth it for something I will most likely use so little.

yeah, man...I have 1 of each set of snap-on ratchets that I cherish...then a mechanics set of craftsman I've had forever and my filler has all been amazon purchases...even some harbor freight
for stuff I don't mind having to replace easily I am happy. I wish I had the money to have ALL snap-on!
