My New Car
I should've posted this A LONG time ago (June 2009 to be exact) but my 2nd gen TLS was totaled back in April 2009 and after the healing from the accident and lots of car shopping I landed in a 2009 Honda Accord Coupe V6 6MT.
I love the car and its got serious balls. Within the 1st week I added a system, 6000K Hids, and 35% tint. A month or two later I added an ATLP Jpipe, Rv6 3rd Cat Delete, and an Injen CAI. By the end of this month I hope to be lowered 2 inches, have UR underdrive pulley, custom precat delete's(Richie's don't fit, Honda changed the head flange on the newer models), a custom 2.5" magnaflow quad tip ultra quiet exhaust (for crusing), and custom 2.75" single outlet exhaust (for tracking), and hopefully a few other goodies I haven't decided on yet.
I also scooped up some 18" aspec wheels but will be getting them powdercoated for the summer. Here are a few starter pics. Once the blizzard clears out this weekend here in DC I should have more.

Nice mods so far. The drop is going to look great too since Accords have notoriously huge wheel gap lol.

Nice car! I like this my friend has the same one but it's AT and the Inline 4 one... which of course my RSX spanked him by airplane lengths as expected. The V6 6spd now that's something to be scared of.
There's a guy in my complex who has a murdered out black one and I have to say, that shit looks badass!
Never thought I 'd say that about an Accord but I really dig the new coupes.

I love this car. Seriously, I recommend this car to my friends every time whoever is looking to get a new car. I mean it's reliable, roomy, good gas mileage, affordable and fun to modify.
And my idiot friends say, "it's just another economy car".

If Honda/Acura would do some things with this car, it would sell like hot cakes:
1. Put a variation of the 4G TL on the front, maybe a bit of TSX without the "chrome beak"
2. Change the rear to be TSX like.
3. Put SH-AWD in with the 6MT, and a leather appointed interior
4. Sell it as the new CL
That, my friends, would be a show stopper for Acura. Hell, they would take away sales from Infiniti, BMW, and Lexus.

Thanks for all the feedback and compliments guys. I just ordered my springs and wheel spacers the other day. They should be here shortly.
I meant to mention that I dynoed 240whp & 220wtq stock and after I added the Injen CAI, ATLP Jpipe and RV6 3rd Cat Delete I dynoed 260whp & 240wtq. The gains were higher than that in the lower rpm range but I don't have the dyno sheet in front of me so I couldnt say right now.

curbweight is 3440. A little porky but not too bad
I do too. The FWD is a bit killer with the power its got.
Yes but no LOL. Once I get Precat deletes I am going to get a high flow cat installed where the 3rd cat was to keep down the carbon from accumulating on my rear bumper.
